I rarely review items I purchase from Amazon, but this product rates my two cents. For the last 3-4 years I have noticed an increased amount of hair in the shower drain and my de-tangling comb after washing my hair. I also noticed an increase in oily buildup and an itchy scalp. I currently have 3 different medicated shampoos as well as 2 different types of conditioner in my shower, I will probably use them to bathe my cat. If this sounds like you, let me start with the facts. I am 70 yrs old, my hair reaches to the middle of my behind and I was this close to shaving my head, that is how frustrated and discouraged I have become. Then I asked my mail lady, a very pleasant Hawaiian woman with very long hair, what she uses. Keep in mind she did not recommend a brand name, she just said get the rice water bar. So with that and with only reading reviews/looking at price I settled on Viori, I bought the set, when it arrived the very same day I was in the shower lathering up my head. 1st, the Hidden Waterfall scent is to die for. It takes a little effort to get the lather at first but trust me it will happen. The conditioner bar doesn't have the same intensity of scent but it doesn't mask the shampoo scent. One of the most immediate results were the comb out was alot easier than normal, my hair was very silky to the touch , and the usual frizzy ends were notably reduced, now on day 3 w/ no oily buildup or itchy scalp. But the thing that blew me away was when I happened to stand in a shaft of light streaming into my house was the SHINE, My hair has not seen shine like this in over twenty years and all this w/ the 1st use, so looking forward to updating this review in 6 mos.

This was the first bar shampoo and conditioner I’ve used, and I was honestly a bit skeptical about how well it would lather. Turns out, it worked great. My hair felt soft, clean, and more moisturized than with most shampoos I’ve tried. The scent’s nice and subtle, and the rice water in it is a good touch. The only downside was I kept it in a closed container, which caused it to smell moldy after a while, so I had to throw it out. Since I really liked the results, I’ll probably buy it again and just make sure to store it somewhere it can air dry properly. Overall, it’s a solid product.

I found this product by looking for vegan shampoo for my daughter who has allergies and because we are becoming as low toxic as we can step by step. I found a video on tik tok from a hairstylist who said after trying so many vegan products this was the best. I agreed with her about other vegan products not working because we have tried others as well with no luck. My daughter has fine thick hair that is a tangley mess everyday and she sweats from playing, which makes it worse. Every day was a nightmare for both of us. I tried all the brushes, all the products, silk bonnets, everything. Her hair was constantly getting damaged and broken. She wanted to grow it out, but its so hard when it's always breaking. Frizz was always an issue as well. My hairstylist wanted me to try Verb, which I did and Pravana. They were good products and helped, but again not vegan and she needed better products. She is a child like her mother who wants to heal the world, not hurt it. When these products arrived, they were in such cute little packages and smell so good. We ordered the citrus based on the video. The smell is nice. They seem small, but once you use them you are able to see how you can get so many washes out of them. I washed her hair with ease just like directions said and it lathers so nice. When rinsed, no residue like other shampoos. Just clean hair. I was worried at first because the hair seemed so clean that it may be hard to comb. Then I used conditioner and could see it would not be an issue. The first time I used it I put on the top first and down the hair. Too much. Second time I rubbed conditioner from base of skull down hair ends and then what was left on my hands, I used to put on the rest of hair. I had her gentle rinse and be done. That was perfect. We also ordered the body wash. So nice on her skin. Again, no residue. Just nice soft skin. I feel like you use less water as u spend less time washing it off if that makes sense. It's a win buying these products in so many ways. Once out of the shower, I am able to comb my daughter's hair so easy. That never happened before without a bunch of Pravana on it. I let it air dry and in the am I still only run a comb thru it. No tangles at all. I was shocked same as my daughter. Even after school she comes home with nice soft hair. It does control the frizz and need to wash as often. I am just blown away by this product. I wish I would have known about it sooner. I tried it on my own hair also. I have thick fine hair with gray and don't need to wash more than three times a week. It has made my hair so nice and brings out the wave. I throw a few curls in and it looks amazing. I read some reviews about fragrance and how it doesn't transfer and I want to say that the smell of the soap is wonderful. Having said that the fact that the smell doesn't transfer is a good thing. It means it's safe and if a smell sticks to your hair, chances are it's disrupting your hormones and causing you more issues than you want anyways. Enjoy the fact that you can read and understand the list of ingredients in these products and know they aren't causing you or your children harm. I will be ordering for the whole family. I like this shampoo and conditioner. I cannot comment on results yet because it needs the test of time. I ordered and started using it only a month ago. But what I can say is that it is very gentle on hair. Pleasant scent - I thought it was quite strong at the beginning but that's because I stopped using perfumes and scented lotions. Now I really like the scent and don't find it heavy anymore. It came in a very nice package, good idea for a gift. Was delivered 2 days before the guaranteed delivery date. The best solid shampoo I've ever tried and I suspect a lot cleaner and healthier (less ingredients), so not planning to go back to liquid shampoo.

Accidentally bought the unscented which was a bummer, but my hair loves this stuff! I have hip length thick but fine hair. I was worried that, like previous shampoo and conditioner bars, I would have to work it hard into my hair to get enough cleansing and conditioning, but these bars pack a punch. A little goes a long way and they leave my hair feeling so clean, soft and hydrated.
