Works well
I like it. Been looking for a sandpaper holder for awhile, this fits the bill. First, I like that it's small. I don't do huge projects or anything, so this is all I need. Secondly, I like the round and angled sides, gives more options for sanding. Third, it's not that hard to put the sandpaper in, it's pretty easy. As for the quality, can't say much only had it for a little while, but it seems pretty good. I bought two of them. One for just sanding, and the other... this may sound strange but I use the other one for smoothing out my hand skin. My hands get rough sometimes, so I use a file to smooth it out. Turns out 220 grit paper with this thing smooths my hands perfectly.

Great for Household Projects!
I only need to sand things for small projects around the house and this worked great on wood putty repairs, filling small holes with wall Spackle for a smoother appearance. I also used it on an antique finished stain that I had used 15 years ago to lighten up a fake oak antique bookcase that had been damaged by a water bottle that had slowly leaked that caused the wood to splinter off from the top of it. I use this for a pantry storage in my kitchen and decided to nourish the wood with Old English Lemon Oil for dark wood rather than filling it with wood putty and re-staining it again. The oil worked too well because it floated on the undamaged part and required multiple wipe downs with paper towels throughout the day. I wanted to put back the cream colored linen table runner that decorated and hid the previous damage but was concerned the dark oil would stain it all over again. Finally, I used this Warner Tool 34436 Sanding Block to finish it off and wiped it down with a damp paper towel to remove the dust, wiped it down with dry paper towel and it looks and feels much nicer. The linen table runner is back on and it looks wonderful again. Very happy with it for my household projects! I give this tool an additional 5 Granny Gems approval rating.

Fast and secure paper changes, easy to use
I have never liked the old-school rubber sanding blocks with the little pointy bits to secure the sandpaper, so I set out to find a block that used a more sophisticated approach to hold the abrasive in place. This Warner sanding block is easy to load and easy to hold, and makes a simple task much easier. Pinch the little black tabs and the red part pops up. Insert the new quarter sheet of sandpaper and push the red part back down. This secures and tensions the sandpaper, and you're back to work in just a few seconds. I have to mention the importance of using good quality sandpaper. The heavier backing and better abrasives of something like the 3M ProGrade paper is worth every penny of the slightly higher price. Coupling that with the quality and ease-of-use of this sanding block will definitely improve your productivity.

Only works for sanding flat surfaces
This was a big disappointment of a product 4 me personally. It seems that it can only work on sanding flat surfaces only simply cuz of those 2 stupid holes located right in the middle of the block(see pics). Idk why any1 wud design a sanding block with such a fatal flaw thus limiting the number of applications in which it can be used for. I liked the price which is why I bought it but I paid the ultimate price for going cheap, this block has potential but it's wasted from location of stupid holes right in the middle, what a dumb design flaw. However, I like the idea behind how it functions/holds & releases the sandpaper, just shud have implemented the design better (no holes in middle of the block)

I got Lazy Lucky!
Until recently, I have only used sanding blocks a few times. Whenever I needed one, I made do with general use grit and used it until the sides were smoother than a baby's back side. My old method wouldn't work for my current project, so I went searching for cheap and easy alternatives to having a bunch of $5 sanding blocks in various grits. This sander had decent reviews and was the right price. Now that I have used it for a bit, I give this sander high marks, especially for the following qualities: Sustainablility - I am not throwing blocks away and when I pull off the used sand paper, I use the scraps for other projects. Versatilility - I love that I can switch out to a different grit so easily. I was afraid that it would be hard to get a tight fit, but it isn't. Bonus - there is a rounded edge and an angled edge for detail work. Affordablility - for less than I have spent on a Scotch sanding block, I now have a tool that will last me for quite some time.

Doesn't require a screwdriver to change the paper
This little sander is great. It is easy to install the sandpaper because you don't have to get a screwdriver to open it. The paper just slips right in. The handle make it easy to use, and when you have used the paper up, just pop another piece in!

Good handy item. Very useful.
This is a very handy item for sanding with emery paper. I gave it 4 stars because I hoped it was a big bigger. But the item itself is good.
