AC Power Adapter for Blood Pressure Monitor

It works with my Omron 5. The wire is a bit thin for my liking, which is why I'm knocking it down 1 star. Not sure how durable it will be in the long term but it does the job. The wire is long enough, so there are no issues there.

I ordered the Omron BP742N 5 Series Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor, along with the Hard Case and AC Adapter as a gift for my brother and sister in law. They were so surprised! They love it ! They use it everyday. I have one as well. Omron makes a good product. It is so convenient to have a blood pressure monitor in your home rather than having to go to the grocery/drug store to use one.

Honestly, I bought the adapter to back up the monitor's battery-powered unit. It's useful when the BP monitor seems to be giving anomalous readings and you want to see if it's because the batteries are low. Otherwise, the device is more portable with battery power. This unit saves a lot of changing-out-of-batteries nonsense.

Good power supply, I ordered this for a Omron blood pressure monitor as it was suggested by Amazon and the monitor had one included so I really didn't need this one but it does work and I will have a spare if I ever need it.

I have no problems with AC power adapter, I tested using it a few times, My blood pressure is lower using the AC adapter. So I choose to use Batteries, just to be closer to in-Dr's Office checking, which always higher, in my case.

Thank you for the follow-up. The power adaptor is fine but when I ordered the Omron Blood Pressure Monitor it did not say that a power adapter was included so I ordered this one. The adaptor was included with the monitor and now I don't need the one I ordered from you. I figured the postage to send it back would be more than the adapter cost.

I cannot say anything bad because I have not used it. Appearance is intact. I bought it for my blood pressure monitor. I was misled to believe one was not included and one was included....smh
