Great quality photos for a beginner
I was contemplating on what expensive camera I should be for my trip to Alaska and Canada. I came across these binoculars that come with a special attachment to connect your phone lens with the lens of the binoculars and was sold! I’m so glad I opted for this instead of some expensive fancy camera. I took nice pictures of the whales, bears, eagles and other scenery. I have an iPhone 13 and took my pictures with it. To be clear, it’s not a Bluetooth connection. It’s an attachment that allows your phone lens to lineup with the lens of the binoculars. I’ve included a few photos so you guys can see.

Great budget binos
These were bounced around a truck bed off road, left out in the cold and rain (not freezing) and dropped from a tree. Still work great and still a clear picture view. I've had them for a few years now and for the price they excel.

Good Binoculars
These took some getting used to but are very good binoculars.

A Good Upgrade After 20+ Years
I spent the weekend using the 12x50 Gllysion binoculars I purchased last week as an alternative to a pair of Nikon 10x50 StayFocus Plus II I’ve owned for 20+ years, and I have a couple observations. The Gllysions came with a sturdy nylon slightly-padded carrying case and neck strap, lens covers for both pairs, two tethers and a neck strap for the binoculars themselves, cleaning cloth, and a cell phone adapter to position a cell camera and take a picture through one lens tube. The Gllysions weigh just under 1lb 10oz, about 8 ounces lighter than the Nikons. One thing I liked immediately was the overall profile, about 1/3 less than the Nikons. Accordingly, supporting the Gllysions is easier, and there’s really no serious tension involved to hold them steady. The eyecups ‘pop out’ by rotating them, so viewing with or without eyeglasses is accommodated easily. I do both, depending. And there’s an attachment point for a tripod adapter. As far as the image goes, I can only say I have no complaints. I’m not an optics expert and I’ve never dissected the performance of any optics I’ve had. As long as I can see what I need to I’m content. Today I could easily see the chipmunk running across the rock wall on the other side of our four acres. That’s got to be about a hundred yards or more away. I’ll also use these as a quick alternative to setting up a range scope for target practice at under a hundred yards. The image at every distance I looked at was crisp, and the colors accurate even under some low light conditions.Last was the cell phone camera adapter. I was skeptical this was going to work, and when I set it up and watched the image on the cell screen moving around (I was holding it free hand) I was sure the picture would be blurred out. But it wasn’t! It took just two tries to get a focused picture at about a hundred feet. The other picture was just barely blurred, but perfectly usable. I’m sure if I was bird watching or something at long distances, I’d put it on a tripod. So overall I like them. And at this price point I think they’re a good value.

Provides a great clear view
These things are amazing. Best binoculars I’ve ever used. The magnification is super strong and everyone I’ve shared them with has been very impressed by how far and clearly you can see with them.

Sturdy binoculars with easy adjustments
I needed a pair of binoculars with a reasonable zoom. I have a few junk/freebie low zoom pairs and one good pair with a 12x zoom that's a bit hard to keep steady without a rest. I settled on a 10x42 for ease of use but decent zoom while not being gigantic. This set checked those boxes and seemed reasonably priced for the features. I'm too clumsy for a super high end set. They feel very sturdy in hand. I won't try to drop them but I'd wager they'd be alright if i did. The adjustment knobs all work smoothly and the main focus knob is fairly larger than some of my other sets which makes them easier to dial in. I've only used it in daylight so far, but the picture all is crisp and easy to adjust. 10x is indeed much easier to keep steady. It comes with all the accessories I would have bought anyway (case, lens caps, strap) as well as a phone mount which was nice. The phone adapter grips my big phone (Pixel 6 Pro), but its a little cumbersome to get it all configured and moves around a little bit with the weight of my big phone. I found my phone was hunting for focus when looking through the binoculars but that might just be a trait of my phone. For me its just a novelty as i doubt I'd use it much. I uploaded a set of pictures with and without the binocular using the phone mount.Pros-Sturdy-Full accessory pack (case, lens caps, straps, phone adapter)-Large knob with smooth/easy adjustment-Crisp picture-Waterproof-Doesn't break the bankCons-Phone mount is a little goofy to setup in a hurry (but it does hold the phone well)

Broke in half during vacation
While standing out on the balcony looking at glaciers I adjusted the binoculars to the correct width for my eyes after my wife used them. I do not recall applying significant force to the operation. The binoculars broke in half instead of adjusting. I have to assume this was a defect in the injection molded plastic parts. I have since pressed the halves together and used epoxy to glue them together adjusted for my eye width. Luckily it appears the optics are in alignment in the final cured state.I would suggest looking at other name brand binoculars.

Why?
First off, I have not tried these yet other than a little bit in my living room. I bought them to use on an Alaskan cruise we are going on. My first opinion though?? Why in the world would you not make the carrying bag big enough to fit the eyepiece accessory???? It barely fits the binoculars after attaching the neck strap. I got a decent picture using the phone attachment, but I definitely feel I will have to use a tripod to get great pictures because it picks up every little shake. Verdict is not conclusive yet on these.Update after Alaskan cruise. The binoculars are really good, but.....had a tripod on our balcony and the camera accessory was pretty much useless. I wouldn't recommend this product for phone use.
