Great parts for the dollar
Our dryer died and I spent an hour with a Samsung technician and all he was able to determine is that we needed a new dryer, wrong. We watched some YouTube videos and thought we’d be able to repair our dryer and not have to shell out $1000 for a new one and we fixed it with the kit we purchased. Saves us over $700.00 dollars on a new dryer purchase!
For the cost-a DIY'er cannot afford to purchase these items to try and bring their Samsung dryer back to life.Hard to believe, but the thermal cut off fuse-at less than $6.00 if purchase alone-was the culprit. If you have removed the outer shell of the dryer-might as well replace all of the parts included in the kit, clean the inside of the unit, vaccuum and remove all lint-and keep all the loose change that you will surely find. Original components lasted 13 years so this was $ well spent. Time will tell with respect to longevity.
