This book is not only a wake up call but a true diagram of how twisted and intertwined the tentacles are of the shadowy figures we never see or hear about controlling our destiny.By chapter 3 it is apparent that we as citizens have not or ever were truly free from their subversion and invisible guidance. Since the inception of our country selfish and greedy, hateful and vindictive individuals have been controlling both regional and global events through their vast wealth to gain control over all. It is not hyperbolic in the least to word It in such a way.We’ve been given the illusion of choice through voting and our political system but never has it been painted so clear that those in power are collectively working on the same “team” with the same goals. Left or Right, the agenda is the same, the packaging is just different.People who I once believed to be heroes are not. People whom we were taught were helpful philanthropists are the polar opposite. People who we were convinced didn’t exist in the shadows indeed live there and keep it very very dark on purpose.I had to set this book down a few times to absorb what I was reading and compartmentalize my emotions. I found myself marking pages, looking up references, and after finding confirmation of almost everything detailed, I had no other choice but to accept the truth, which is a very bitter pill, and order other copies to send to friends and family. This “history” must be taught and exposed along with each and every hand that had a part in building this grand illusion.From the references offered throughout this book I ordered a total of 12 other books that go into further detail in regards to specific areas of corruption and infiltration, the CIA and other Letter Agencies, the heads of state, and the military top echelon to be more precise. The facts are beyond description. Beyond describing!I highly recommend this book if you are just waking up because it is very detailed and makes a great stand alone introduction, but if you are determined to remove the blinders completely, this book will certainly invoke a quest for more.

Presuming to govern any nation without first knowing anything of the world's real powers, their goals, and their methods sounds a lot like presuming to practice medicine without first knowing anything of the affects of water, air, food, and sunshine upon the human body.If you truly believe the majority of politicians have their constituent's best interest primarily at heart and that acceding to backroom `rules of the game' and feathering their own nests is a distant second...If you think we get the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth from our mass media, and that the media is not tightly controlled by self-serving ownership influence...If you believe that good will usually triumph over evil even though you, your friends and neighbors, and your employer and civic organizations do nothing to assure that outcome...You obviously believe `ignorance is bliss' and `what you don't know won't hurt you," and you really shouldn't go out in public without a guardian.Ignorance is NOT bliss - it is foolhardy. Battle Hymn shines the bright light of day down on the dark secrets of a shadow government, reveals hidden mechanisms, and explains how and why they work and who controls them. They tie it all together, citing names, dates, places, organizations, purposes, methodology, and goals. Many will surprise you!Isn't it amusing how liberal thinking allows one single flaw (e.g., the `chip implant' issue) to justify their total rejection of an otherwise entirely masterfully assembled and concisely orchestrated presentation.So, while Battle Hymn, may be viewed as containing an error; even Socialists are intelligent enough to realize that after any book's final edit the real world can change before the date that book finally hits the retail shelves. An original provision, deleted before passage, of the Affordable Healthcare Act is just such an example.John Scura and Dane Phillips have clearly measured and poignantly scored every beat of what has been happening globally for centuries, and continues today - as the authors cite - "...just beyond plain view. And who's been looking?"Once you start Battle Hymn you won't want to put it down. But, I think you'll also find yourself digesting it in small doses - much like eating an elephant, one bite at a time - chewing each bite thoroughly.

I had an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ 34 years ago in a prison cell. He showed me what it was like to stand before Him at the end of my life and where I would be going to wait until the final judgement when He casts all the unbelievers and hypocrites into the Lake of Fire, along with the devil and his angels. God is real. Satan is real. That there is a judgement is real. That Jesus Christ came to pay for the sins of any who believe is real. This is an excellent book that every American should read to find out the truth and who the people are behind all the wars and the planned control and fall of America through power and greed.

Brilliant, disturbing and frightening. A deep dive into the Matrix but also not entirely suprising as biblical prophecies illuminate this book.

It expresses in words why we are not totally free under God, as the free will is overpowering thru greed for power and authority

A must read at a reasonable price. This book should be required reading for high school students.

This book is a must read. It will blow you away , and most likely will change your opinion about life as we know it. If you only read one book in your life , read this one.
