Awesome must have unit
I’ve been using the Phenyx Pro PTU-6000-8H at my church, and it has been a total workhorse. If you need to manage multiple vocalists without a massive rack of receivers, this is a fantastic solution. What stands out to me: Massive Space Saver: Getting 8 independent channels into a single 1U rack space is incredible. It cleaned up our sound booth immediately and eliminated the "nest" of antennas and power cables. Solid Build: These aren't cheap plastic toys. Both the receiver and the handheld mics have a heavy-duty metal construction that feels professional and durable enough for weekly use. Reliable Signal: The Auto-Scan feature is a lifesaver. It quickly finds the clearest frequencies, and I haven't dealt with any dropouts or interference during a service. Pro Connectivity: Having 8 individual XLR outputs on the back is essential. It allows me to mix and EQ every singer separately at the board, which is a must for a balanced band sound.
