I had a few concerns about this bowl before I ordered it, but not any more! I have used it many times already and am entirely satisfied. It does a great job of popping even when you don't use oil, and leaves almost no unpopped kernels. Even when I leave it running a little too long, there is no scorching like you can get with bagged microwave popcorn. Do stick to the recommended amount of kernels, by the way - a quarter cup looks like nothing when you pour it into the bowl, but it fills it right up. Definitely recommended, well worth the money.

Wasn't sure this was going to work, but we love the popcorn it makes taste so much better, than the packaged one bought in the stores that you microwave, so much cheaper to pop your own as well!!!No popping oil needed to pop the corn as well another savings!!

I've really been enjoying my Collapsible Silicone Microwave Hot Air Popcorn Popper! It's been a fantastic addition to my kitchen, and it genuinely works exactly as directed on the packaging. I've used it several times now, and it does a consistently good job at popping up loose popcorn kernels. The popcorn comes out fluffy and perfectly popped almost every time.The only reason I'm holding back on a full five-star rating is that after a couple of uses, it no longer holds its original perfectly expanded shape. It still expands enough to pop the popcorn, but it's a bit more "relaxed" looking. That said, this hasn't impacted its functionality at all, and it still collapses neatly into a much smaller item for easy storage, which is a huge plus!Overall, if you're looking for a convenient and effective way to make microwave popcorn, I definitely recommend this popper. It gets the job done well, even with its slight shape change.

Makes popping corn fun. I find a paper plate works better for a lid, than the lid provided. I am diabetic, this is a good snack for me.

My brother encouraged me to buy this replacing a stove top popper. Initially I resisted because I was happy with the taste of stove popcorn. I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty the corn was and how many kernels popped. Have used it consistently since purchased and it's easy to clean and a perfect size.

First of all, I recommend getting a silicone popcorn bowl and making your own popcorn instead of buying the bags at the store, its healthier and tastes better, and the popcorn is already in an easy to clean bowl so you dont have to clean a popping machine.But maybe this particular bowl listing isn't the one you want.I bought this as a gift for my roommate because he and his wife like to use my Colonel Popper silicone popcorn bowl.I didn't think there'd be such a big quality difference but as you can see: the Blue bowl is the one I purchased from this listing, and the Green bowl is my old Colonel Popper bowl purchased on Amazon years ago. The product quality difference is visible.This bowl's walls are flimsy and wobbly and were folded into the box. Where my old Colonel Popper holds its shape well.My roommate was still over the moon to have received a bowl of his own, and he says it'll probably pop popcorn all the same. Both he and his wife like the color. They haven't used it yet.As far as shipping goes, it arrived in its product box without an external Amazon box. This was fine by me and probably a bonus since I'm big on waste reduction and I hadn't planned to wrap the gift or make it a suprise.
