this case is what i will stick with for this phone as long as it lasts. while i typically would love to stick with a wallet-case, i've tried some of them floating around and returned all of them. none of them work well with this exotic phone design.i like the hinge flap for its added grip, it is very effective at helping me hold the phone whether it is closed or open.i like the multiple layers in the case design. other cases advertise "multiple layers" of protection and they are actually just a really thin piece of plastic with a thin layer of fabric or faux leather wrapping it - i assure you that style of case will never protect this phone from drops (including most of the samsung brand cases - they are horrible for fall protection). this case here though might actually add some protection.my only complaints so far would be -(1) it doesn't have a built in screen protector, but i can get a nice glass one elsewhere that should fit this cutout just fine(2) there is no way to hold the pen. i know it isn't quite advertised that should hold the pen, but i saw in the q&a section of this listing that someone mentioned you can stick it inside the hinge flap. this is sadly not true. to add to this misinformation, included with this case in the box are instructions how to stick the pen into the hinge flap, but the images and mechanics do not represent this design - it represents a design i wish they had actually made, but it simply is not the actual product listed here. (i tried to put the pen in the flap anyway and the flap just sticks wide open and does not effectively hold the pen in place.)(3) i wish it didn't need the double-sided tape to be fully secure. i've used it a few days without the tape, and while it is usable this way i feel like i should go ahead and install it. unfortunately a design flaw facing all cases for this phone is how to get the case to stick effectively on the front left.(4) i wish it had a kickstand.. seems like something they could have very easily included but they didn'toverall, i do recommend this case - it is probably one of the best cases you'll find for this phone (it is better than all the samsung brand cases).

This was the first case I got for my Z Fold3. I drop my phone all the time from up high and the phone is still perfect. It has now been over a year, I got this January 2022 and I'm writing this March 2023. So with all the hard falls my phone has taken, 2 of the magnets from the side hinge cover have fallen out, but I don't have an S Pen so it doesn't bother me. I got the dark green one. It's not cracked anywhere. And again, I've dropped this phone on the concrete sidewalk, almost daily work. The only reason I'm giving this case a 4 is that it didn't come with a kickstand. I bought a little swivel ring holder for the back of the phone, because I prefer those, but there is no good spot to put it on. I also wish there were better designs or colors.

It does it's job as it has one assignment, to protect my phone. My only drawback as 2nd one I purchased is the side with magnets. It will come off soon, unable to use the side protection anymore as magnets go missing as well. But it still protects my screen and back when dropping as my phone usually drops on its front or back anyway. So it has one job and does this job minus the issue with side protector per the picture.

Here is a review after a year and a half of having this case. I was skeptical of any case to actually protect the $2,000 device that wasn't a ton of money. I put my faith in this one and was NOT a let down. I've dropped my phone, slid it across the pavement, stepped on it(all by accident of course) and this thing had HELD UP! The only thing I was a little upset with was that the magnets for the side pannel had came off and I had to glue them back in but im alright with it. Next time I need to buy a case for my fold I'm buying this again. JUST BUY IT!

I hate writing negative reviews! On February 6, 2022 I took delivery on my newVRS Design Terra Guard for Galaxy Z Fold 3, Semi-Auto Hinge Protective Case Compatible with Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G (2021) and put the cover onto my new Samsung Z3 and was very happy. The phone case fit perfectly and the exterior screen snapped right in place. I then attached the side hinge protector which fit perfectly and clicked into place. I liked the design as the side hinge protector slides over the outside screen as the phone is folded open. The side hinge is held in place by 3 rubber straps that fit over three corresponding tabs and 2 magnets and worked well initially. Unfortunately, the side hinge protector straps have popped off the mounts and cannot be remounted. The only thing that holds the hinge protector in place are the two magnets. When you open the phone the hinge protector falls off. As I said before, the phone case fits perfectly into the case and the outside screen frame snaps right into place but now I have no hinge protector. The rubber straps are mounted securely to the phone case it is just that they do not snap back over the tabs. I could use the phone cover with the hinge protector, hence the 3 star rating, but I wanted a hinge protector. Maybe there is a part missing that snaps into the tabs and over the three straps but I did not see one and the hinge protector worked properly when I received it. All in all the case and frame are good but the hinge protector design is a fail unless there is a part missing. As I am past the 30 day point no return or refund available. So VRS, if you read this what gives? I liked your product and it worked as designed for 30 days. As you can see I hate writing these kinds of reviews. Hope to hear from you VRS.
