Love these! Put one in every storage box in my basement, and on bookcases, to make sure humidity isn't getting high (musty smell). Very useful! Reasonable price. I ordered 2 more packs.

Bought because I found moisture in documents in storage. Purchased with 2 Pack Of 224 Gram Silica Gel Desiccant Packet 7.5" x 4.5" By Dry-Packs Brand. Placed indicator pak and desiccant with documents. Indicator showed a lot of moisture the first day and within several days moisture removed. Would recommend both to keep your documents safe.

Wanted to check ceiling for moisture...had a previous leak and wasn't sure it was fixed. The strips didn't seem to work like we thought they would

This is very inaccurate. It didn't register an accurate humidity reading. I thought it was on a sticky back so it could be posted on the wall. It isn't. It's a cheap piece of card stock which barely works. It's not returnable. This is a piece of junk!

Nice to know what the moisture content is in my ammo boxes and when I need to change out my desiccant packs, they work great and accurate. Just make sure you keep them sealed after opening as the packaging is not resealable.

Does what it is intended to do. There's no magic here or glitz. This is a paperboard card that reacts to various levels of humidity. Quite small in size so it is unobtrusive; can be used anywhere. Does come is a handy closeable pouch to keep unused cards fresh and humidity out. Am using in my photo equipment bag to monitor humidity levels. Handy when shooting in damp or humid places.

I like these better than the three dot type. These are easy to read and can be reused for quite a while. Metal will effect the cards, so I cut a thick baseball card protector, one side and top open and slide this in to protect it.

Cards came as advertised, in a sealed pack and all blue. When 1 was placed on a counter, the lower dots changed to pink indicating humidity at about 50% which is typical in San Diego. A second card was placed in a small ziplock bag containing a packet of dessicate and excess air removed on the same counter. That card remained all blue after 24 hrs indicating 10% or less humidity, and that the dessicate was working. Then the first card (indicating 50% humidity) was placed in the same ziplock bag with the second card, the dessicate, and with excess air removed. After 24 hrs, the all-blue second card remained all blue, but the first card (the one that had registered 50% ambient room humidity) still indicated 20-30% (2nd and 3rd dots were still trending toward pink and 1st dot was solid pink). That is, they seem to work when going from the original sealed pack - all dots blue - to higher humidity, but they don't follow a drop from a higher to lower humidity. As one frequently puts dessicate into a container to reduce existing humidity (e. g., putting it into a sealed clothes bag), putting a card in (even a fresh all-blue card) would likely register the initial humidity (before the dessicate has had time to act) but not the eventual humidity. This makes evaluating the quality and quantity of dessicate required for a given container difficult/bothersome with these cards.
