The “tail feathers” and feet pose possibly serious choking and or digestive track obstruction risks!As you can from the photographs the threads began to unravel from the tail feathers area and continued to the point that several feet of thread had unwound- this could get caught up in an animal’s digestive track posing any number of health risks.This product should be removed from the market until the problem is addressed.DO NOT PURCHASE THIS TOY UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO MONITOR YOUR PET FULL TIME WHILE IT IS IN THEIR POSSESSION!

originally got the squirrel for our elderly jack russell - and she loved playing with it till she passed on. our french bulldog puppy inherited it - and - the squeaker has died - but she still loves fetching it - playing tug of war with it - and chewing on it. so - we bought her the pheasant. so far - the tail "feathers" have been great for her to chew on and tug. she has a lot of fun with this toy!

I bought this because i thought it looked sturdy from the pictures and description. Gave it to my 8 month old golden retriever and he completely ripped it apart in 20 minutes, which is pretty good even for him. Tail off, stuffing all out, body mangled. Not durable for a bigger dog.

In the eternal search for toys that do not urge my dog to reduce them to fibre strands, this one goes on an increasingly high ash heap. Oh well, it was fun watching it come apart....especially the tail.

He loves that when he shakes it the canvas tail what’s him in the face. He loves this toy.
