My cholesterol and triglycerides had both gone high recently so the doctor prescribed a different medication and asked me to do blood tests again in 3 months. Meantime, I bought the CardioChek to monitor levels at home. The first few times I used it I don't think the readings were accurate, but after the third time I found it easier to use and got good readings. Everything was down significantly. The true test came when I had another set of tests at the doctor's lab. All numbers were close or right on to the numbers I got with the CardioChek. So this is an accurate product and I shall continue to use so I can monitor my blood levels on a regular basis.

Ordered this product for home testing, but when it arrived I opened the box and realized that it was going to be a hassle to do all these tests regularly. I thought testing at home with this product would be much easier and more convenient. IT ISN'T ! Too many different strips to use for an accurate reading.So I closed the box back and returned it. Didn't open any test strips, didn't unpack anything. Didn't turn on monitor...nothing. Just simply looked at the packaged items and closed the box.Do you believe that this seller refused to give me a full refund. Stating that the package was used. REALLY? What a lie. Charged me a 95.00 restocking fee !!! What a piece of work.Don't waste your time. Spend the money and get a real test. I recommend "Any Lab Test Now" for $35.00.

It was accurate and easy to use. Much cheaper than going to the doctor every month to watch my cholesterol.

Inexpensive, reliable and pretty accurate. If you only go for blood test once or twice a year, than this is a great tool just to see how you doing between the doctor visits.

The blood collection tubes are crap order some glass ones. The seller never returns questions and sends coupons to get you skip buying here. The system seems to work but if you want to do multiple test there seems to be nothing one can do but remove the batteries as no off button and time to turn off is very long. Had seller responded and had a solution might have rated higher. The tester itself seems accurate and dependable. Strips are finicky it is better to put the satuate the tester then insert the strip then strip and then add blood

I bought the same kit to measure the cholesterol. I had an accurate results - almost no different between Doctor's results and mine at home.There are only 3 strips so I bought the pack of 25 total cholesterol strips (not on Amazon). Today I have measured my total cholesterol with new memory chip and strips twice, from different fingers. Here are my results: 246, 287 !!!!So, where we can find an accurate strips? Or shall we always buy 3 strip package? It is more expensive.Both strip packages are made by PTS.

Purchased to help a friend track cholesterol, when I tried to return it, I was refused because it was six days past the 30-day mark.Unfortunately, it wasn't until then the friend for whom I bought it was no longer in my life. Not using it, not needing it personally and not being able to return it in its original condition makes this a disappointing and expensive lesson.

If you want to keep close tabs on this all important blood reading then this is the way to go. Easy to use and extremely accurate. Great product.
