Loved the examples that are easy to relate to. Loved how well structured the writing was, breaking down complex concepts without taking away from the beauty of Mussar. Aiming for an inspired life, I wanted to continue improving my middot (character traits) and put time aside every week to read a chapter. I found the book very helpful and can definitely recommend it to anyone interested in Jewish wisdom or simply in becoming the best version of yourself.

I bought a copy thinking I would share it with my wife after I finished it. Once I got a couple of chapters in, I liked it so much I bought another copy for her so we could read it together. Thank you to the author!

This book is my first exposure to Mussar teachings and it was enlightening. The author’s comments after examples in her own life often seemed counter to what Mussar teaches. My favorite chapters were on silence and happiness. I will keep the Mussar methods of improvement in my thought process.

This was a wonderful book that every Christian and Jewish women should read to help you refocus your life back on the things that truly matter and grow more in God.

I recommend this book for anybody looking to grow spiritually and to become a better person. The teachings from this book are very practical as well.
