Small, works great for "in the wild" jewelry hunting
I got this to do a quick test on jewelry at estate sales, thrift stores, etc. It works perfectly for that application. It isn't too disruptive on my key chain either. Mostly keeps to itself and doesn't attract unwanted metal.

Super duper strong and handy for jewelry and scraping...
I leave one at home on a lanyard so I don't lose it, and the other I have on my keys wherever I go. Super helpful when out at estate sales or scrapping and sorting.

On the fence
I buy a lot of sterling jewelry and sometimes it is not clearly marked. I’m a little confused on these magnets because they will pick up some metal but not other metal. The whole purpose in buying these was to see if sterling was actually sterling or metal now I’m doubting the reliability of this magnet as a test
