Klein Tools D2000-9NETH Lineman's Bolt-Thread Holding Pliers, Made in USA, High-Leverage Streamline Design with Rounded Nose and Knurled Jaw, 9-Inch

I feel confident of its long-term reliability as attested to by many reviewers. These are U.S. made Kleins and all those glowing reviews must mean something. My one concern, though, was whether the tool has an annoying stickiness in its pivot. I have cheaper pliers that were hard to operate one-handed. I rarely use them. I'm happy to note that the rivet action on my D2000-9NEGLW is smooth, without wobble. It opens and closes just by pull of gravity. That's all I needed to know, I'm satisfied.

These are the classic 2000 series pliers that everyone loves just with glow in the dark handles on them. I thought the glowing handle feature was just a cool little gimmick but as I was buttoning up a drop ceiling the other day I caught something dimly glowing out of the corner of my eye and realized I was about to leave my pliers in the ceiling. Gimmicky or not it saved me once.

Great pair of linesman pliers. Mine came in already broken in. Very smooth. I like the thickness of the handles. Not as thick as the insulated version but not as thin as the standard version. I'm extremely happy with these. Very strong solid feel. As for the the high vis that's just a bonus.You can truly feel the difference in your hand over cheap linesman pliers.

Massive lineman's pliers. Clipped the head off a fork to test the cutters. I bought these for my daughter and these are more substantial than Channellock's offering, which is what I use. They seem to be superior in every way. If you're looking for a serious pair of lineman's pliers, I don't think you can do much better than these. Honestly, these look like they'll give 20+ years of service.

I have used this pair of pliers for two years. I have used it every work day since as a commercial electrical apprentice I love this pair of linemans they are durable, I have and continue to use it as a hammer the cutting blades are still sharp after two years, I don’t use these for cutting screws or other hardened metals/materials but for there main intended purpose they have held up phenomenally. The teeth inside the plier have held up very very well they are sharp and defined still. I highly recommend this plier to anyone especially the professional.Edit: 6/3/20 they are still going strong I’ve re-handled them with the Klein replacement grips cutters are still cutting very well and the teeth in the jaws have smoothed some but are still good.

Great lineman pliers. Cut great, grip great, comfortable. People are on an anti Klein kick lately for whatever reason but they’re great. Can’t go wrong with their hand tools as proven over the years. They’re not as expensive as knipex and other and definitely not cheap like others. Great product. Wouldn’t ever buy anything cheaper

These glow for a long long time and I love them! I'm a fireman and a lot of guys carry linesman pliers or dikes or cable cutters..these are the best EVER. Klein makes the go-to standard for cutters and this new glow handle line is by far the best idea I've ever seen. Too bad they only make a few tools in this line, I'd like all my tools coated with this stuff.

Great pliers, useful for rod busting and various tasks such as stripping wires, tightening things, pulling out small staples, etc.

These linesman pliers are the best in the electrical trade by far, and they are still made in the USA! There are other brands out there on the market that try to compete with price and "features", but they don't quite measure up to the quality and performance of a set of Klein's!

I put my last pair through hell for 5 years before I snapped the handle off. These take a beating and keep going. I cut screws, nails and acsr up to #2 (that takes some effort). These stayed sharp and never chipped the cutting blades. If anyone is wondering these are exactly the same as their D213-9NE pliers

Classic Klein - built to do the job, and do the job well. Tough as nails. Actually tougher; these easily cut nails, screws, wire, cable, whatever. 1/8” stainless rod, no problem. Worth the money to know I'll never need to buy another pair.
