Great OEM replacement option!
My OEM keys were wearing out for my 2011 Ford Expedition. Not in use, but the plastic cover for the buttons that allows access to replace the battery kept falling off. Looked for a replacement that wasn't OEM as I knew there were some out there that had to work.Did some research and found these at a great price! They arrived quickly and ready to go. Took them to a hardware store to get them cut to my OEM keys.At first, thought I may be able to just swap the circuit board with my OEM as they were fine and already programmed to my vehicle. BUT - the design is different. The Ford key has the battery separate from the circuit board. This one has the battery attached to the board. No joy - okay - so off to YouTube I went for programming instructions.Finding instructions on YouTube is easy. You will need to have two master keys for programming. If you don't, you'll need assistance from a locksmith or shop. IF you happen to have a 3rd party remote start system like I do - you CAN start the vehicle with it, then turn the key to run and take off. Tried that before programming just to see.The keys themselves have worked well. They are lighter than the OEM's if that matters to you.

Had a local key guy come and program the fobs for me. Cost $63.00. Work great!!!Well went out to use the key fob I had put back, it starts the car, but the remote to unlock and lock doesn't work.

They Work Easy To Program
I have a 2013 Mustang that came with 2 key fobs and the buttons on both key fobs wore out. I ordered 2 of these key fobs and followed the instructions on a youtube video to program the buttons and key. I got the key cut at True Value hardware store for $3.50. I programmed the buttons by using a working key by turning the key on and off 8 times ending with the key in the on position. You will hear the locks make a sound and you cn then program the key fob buttons one by one. For each button you have to turn the key off and on 8 times. To program the key you have to have 2 working keys. Put the first key into the ignition and turn the key on and off then put the second working key into the ignition and turn the key on and off then put the key you bought on amazon into the ignition and turn the key on and off. The key should now start the car.

Total waste of my time and money.
Followed the programming instructions on the website. The remote functions of the fob work fine and the cuts are good but the chip did not match to my vehicle so neither new key will start my vehicle.I thought I could save hundreds of dollars by not using a locksmith or going to the dealer but all I got is more made in China headaches. Thanks for nothing… SMH

Good until printing wears off
I am writing this review a year and a half after purchasing. The key fob works great and I had no issues with programming or getting a key cut. However, after about a year of use all of the printing on the front faded off. This makes the key difficult to use because I’m constantly having to think about which buttons to push to lock and unlock. :)

Key remotes just fine.

Nice and simple key replacements
I had the keys cut at my local big box store and I programmed them myself using a video off YouTube. You have to have 2 keys to program the new ones without any special tools. If you can program them yourself you (ar least for me) you have to do two different sequences one for the anti theft on the fob and one for the buttons.
