These are worth it and delicious
I was pleasantly surprised by these bacon pieces! The black pepper isn’t overpowering but noticeable. The kids would still eat it and I have one that doesn’t like black pepper. If you’re wanting a fine salt like consistency you won’t get that. These are amazing and like I crumpled up my own cooked bacon without the grease. Some pieces are really hardy. This doesn’t have a ton of fat either like some cheap brands but it’s there.

Taste is alright, but you don't get as much as you might think
I don't taste the pepper, but as far as bacon crumbles go they taste just fine. If you're ordering because of the pepper you might be disappointed. Even though you get 8 packages, the packages are so tiny and get used up fast. This seller has another bacon that I like a lot better as far as both taste and value go so I just buy that one instead.

not bits any more, quality control issues
I bought 20 ounce bags was perfectly ground, then very big size bits made their way into product, i tried smaller 3 ounce bags, buying 8 packs at a time, a case, very good product, but it seems, its more profittable to sell big chunks of bacon! its a quality control issue resolved by doing nothing, witch is "nearsighted to me, i am an engineer, albeit, disabled, crippled. I buy on line so i get it delivered to me, less i have to carry in my back pack, i used these bacon "bits" for a home made Egg McMuffin, Great Bacon, great flavor, their not Bits any more, their chunks with some bits included, one less buyer here, i gave the 20 ounce bags to my land lords dog, its loves them, Good Buy Hormel, Quality control has no Importance to you.

Great bacon
Great bacon, ready to eat. Perfect for adding to scrambled eggs, soups and vegetables. Much lower fat way to have bacon than the whole strip. No frying!
