Specail use of Cap Saved me $$$$
I had a special need for just one of these. My center steering wheel cover from my recent tractor purchase was missing. I did some measuring and found these to be very close in fitting. Wrapped some rubber tape around the outside and pressed in on cap, to protects the nut and metal center from moisture. Worked perfectly! And really a good thick strong cap.

Works Great on Ram Jacks
Fits 2" O.D. Ram jacks well. Trim the diameter of the ribs down about 1/32" all the way around. Trim out for the handle gear (an arc about 1" diameter with the "top" edge of the arc between the 1st and second ribs from the bottom). The plug should push in with some resistance but allow the ribs in without folding them back to breaking. Pop in a self-tapper and push the rib down to seal the rectangular hole. You get 4 tries; I used 3 to get a decent seal and still have one spare plug lol.

Super cheap solution to a problem I had with an exposed end-cap.
Needed a 1.5" cap for an exposed end on an appliance and these fit the bill. I needed to cut away a part of the insert which worked great.

Not really 1"
They won't fit in a 1" hole but will fit perfectly in a 7/8" hole. Worked for what I needed.

Fit perfectly into some tube metal settee couch legs. Used a rubber mallet, lightly tapped once, to fit into place
