There were no instructions fo inserting a securing pin for the handle. It was very difficult to hold the pin and secure the handle without it slipping. I think it took me an hour to succeed.BUT, once it was secured, I tried out the yarn winder. It wound my yarn into a beautiful "pancake". It was worth spending the time to secure the pin. I can't show it to you because it's hidden inside the device.

Literally the only thing that could make this better is if it held more yarn! I have absolutely no complaints, as it makes winding yarn much easier than by hand.
