FantasticDecor 9pc Realistic Artificial Limes

I really wanted to love these fake limes: from the images, I thought they would have yellow blemishes to make them look more real. Not the case. I've attached some photos, on the left a real lime (~2.5 inches, yellowish areas, dots are INdented), on the right the FantasticDecor lime (they're up to ~4" although size varies, all one color green, and dots are OUTdented bumps). See also the really cheap looking stem star thing. When my husband came home and saw them, he said, "Oh we got avocados!" THAT was not the look I was going for. Sigh.

I got these to fill a class cylinder (as I'm sure many other people have), and the main point I can make is that they look good. The color is true to the picture, and they are painted/shaded in such a way that they look pretty darn realistic. I've seen many fake limes before that really do look fake, and I wouldn't put these in that group. These make for a nice presentation, even when viewed up close. They are also realistic in size, another bonus.

These limes came in various sizes which made them more like the real thing. I used them with other artificial fruit like lemons,oranges,green apples and made Christmas centerpieces in large clear glass tall flower vases. I added smaller christmas balls and gold pine cones with some fresh fir and nanadina berries.All my guests were complimentary of how unique and colorful and I will be able to use thru-out the year in other seasonal arrangements and of course again next Christmas.

I liked the product. I used the faux limes for decorating.

Some of them are ok. The finish is much more true to life than the lemons that I bought on the same order. I have never seen limes as large as oranges.I don't care for the strict guidelines on writing a review. If I just want to say that it stinks then that should be good enough.No more reviews for me.

These bare no resemblance to real limes. I should have known that you get what you pay for.The price was reasonable but don't waste your money...pretty bad, really.

Larger than expected so didn't use all in my jar.
