I remember watching the anime after school when it was on here in America and since I began to reread the series, I can’t put them down. This is one of my personal favorites as it introduces everyone’s favorite cook (Spoiler) Sanji. I recommend this as a way of either continuing the story or just want to laugh as Sanji is a good character and reminds me of Brock from Pokémon.

Can't stop now, the story is refreshing and different from others, it hooks you once you start reading it. That's in general, but this specific volume also was unique since it brings the story of sanji to the audience. It was great.

Gin was a very interesting character, and certainly brought something different than what would normally be just a plain "new crew member story." Don Krieg will pay!

A MUST READ FOR ALL MANGA FANS, ONE PIECE FANS, ANIME FANS... btw I started watching One Piece anime before reading the Manga... I then decided to get the manga and read them. They are amazing :D

The seventh volume of "One Piece" moves at a fast-pace – a lot of action and the extended flashback doesn't slow the pace. On to vol. 8 ...

Frankly speaking, the way they fight is odd. They state their dreams, etc., before they fight and one of the leading character’s (in this volume, Sanji’s) history is put in the middle of the battle. Do not get bogged down in such details. Just enjoy the story unfolding before you.
