Although she's not a call girl, she often takes money from the men she meets. Are the stories real? Is Linda simply revealing her sexual fantasies? The question ceases to have any importance for Evelyn as she becomes more and more absorbed in the tales - which take her from a vicarious to an actual journey into the depths of her own sexual desire.
