Bellroy City Pouch (Small Cross-Body, Shoulder Bag or Hip Pack, Slim Design)

Daytime casual, and ideal for carrying my kindle, phone, passport and purse when travelling, but neat enough to use in the evening, too. Just what I needed!

Well made, looks good and holds everything I need for a day in the city

Tidy and practical. Reasonable value for money. May have considered buying the leather option - but the colour of the over he shoulder loop is not for me - black would be preferred.

Bought as a birthday gift for my grandfather who was using a old cheap bag to carry his personal carry under his coat, he loves the quality and size.

I really like Bellroy products, owning other 2 slings and a backpack. I had a large travel sling before purchasing this one and it was a bit too big for my day to day needs so I went looking for an alternative.This one fitted most of what I carry daily, but I had to make some concessions, like not carrying my sunglasses case and fitting them vertically, hanging over one of the dividers. All else was mostly fine, but the deal breaker came once I noticed that the straps were starting to give away because of all the friction with the hardware that connects it to the self compression system. That happened only after a couple months of daily use and I didn't want to risk the strap breaking up in a trip or something like that. I retired this one and got the venture ready sling 2.5L, which has a seatbelt like material on the strap and feels a lot more robust.

This is my fifth, but sadly last, Bellroy purchase. It started so well; the design and the quality convinced me to buy three backpacks and one city pouch. The price was always a bit of an issue, but the quality… Anyway, I bought this pouch and to my disappointment I’ve discovered that the quality has gone out of the window. It’s really quite sloppily put together as you’ll see from the photos. Maybe this is what happens when a design idea gets too big for itself. Try harder, Bellroy.

I looked for a suitable pouch for me (a male). Some were too big and thus not for me. This pouch is perfect. It carries my phone, wallet and keys, securely. That's all I need.It's expensive, but it's well made, a nice fabric and strong strap which is adjustable. A good buy.
