Well made as any rock hammer I have! The quality and weight make this a great value.

Great quality,. Unsecure grip.
The hammer itself was sturdy, very durable and good quality. Somewhat comfortable grip, and holds its own for a lightweight hammer. However, the grip with this product slides off as your hammering. if you’re not paying attention, you could potentially hurt yourself or someone else when the handle comes flying out of the grip. I’m taking steps to try to secure the handle, but I have not been able to test it out yet. I would recommend either do the same or look for a product with a more secure grip. I have been banging away at rocks, and the pointy tip of the pick has barely dulled. . Balanced and durable

Great for digging rocks and breaking ground !
.Great tool for rockhounding ! It did the job on breaking frozen ground and rocks too. No issues with the handle coming off either.

Good weigh good grips.
Bought for a trip to royal pea cocktail opal mine. It's located near a town of Denio NV. Was there for 6 hours my hands were not fatigued as I thought they should be. As for wear i think they were comparable .

Good steel, loose handles.
The steel has held up to lots of use working at chipping and breaking up concrete. The rubber handle is comfortable and also has held up. But they get a 4 out of 5 because the rubber handle will slide off of the metal haft with moderate to heavy use. I had to use Flex Glue to get it to stay on. But after I glued it there weren't any more issues. I'd recommend them, but just remember you are going to have to glue the handle in place. Not bad really considering you get two decent hammers for less than the price of one from a different company.

well made and comfortable handle
Product was as described and is exactly what I was looking for. They are heavy duty and appear to be well made.
