I scoured Amazon reviews and specs for 6 months before settling on this brand of wood magnetic knife strip. I am NOT disappointed.This holds all my knives perfectly without falling. My cheap knives from Ollie’s, “as seen on TV” brands, J.A. Henkles, Wusthof, and my hand forged knives straight from Japan, they all hold perfectly without falling! I purchased 2 because I needed a longer length and it’s the most cost effective option. Keep in mind when ordering that roughly about 1/2 inch on each end is not magnetic enough to hold a knife.I wall mounted this via anchors and screws. I’d you’re planning to do that, I would utilize better anchors. The anchors included were very cheap and flexible which made them hard to get into the wall.

I got a new set of knifes that are really cool looking but did not have sheaths for them. I thought this would be a good option because the wood finish on this matches the handles on the knives. I was concerned about how strong the magnet would be and if it would stick to the side of my fridge. Wow, no complaints! This thing has a strong magnet and it is not going anywhere! It is actually hard to get off the fridge. Love this thing, wish I would have did this a long time ago.

Since we were planning to use this for some heavy knives, we decided to us the screws that were included rather than the sticky tape. We used a strip of paper to make a template to get the screws in the right place. The knife holder was very easy to mount, and we used a hammer to push it down onto the screws so that it would stay in place - that worked well and now it doesn't budge. The holder with the knives has become a stunning focal point in our kitchen, and the knives are easy to access. We love it!

This knife holder seems appropriately heavy and it's nicely finished but the finish is quite thin - it scratches very easily. Also it appears that the it contains a series of circular magnets instead of magnetic bars. On the 16" bar I can mount nine medium-sized pocket knives at locations almost exactly 1.5" apart. If I move a knife left or right, the magnetic attraction drop off significantly until it reaches the next "hot" spot. You can literally feel the knife jump from one location to another. I own two other magnetic knife blocks which have magnetic bars and I don't get this effect.

I bought this knife holder and a set of knives for the kitchen. This holder is amazing. It holds as many knives as I can get on there. It is so easy to use, it is insane I ever tried anything else. The whole holder is magnetic and so I just put it aginst the regrigerator and it stays no problem, with a large amount of knives, scissors, and bottle openers. Basically any metal kitchen hand tool. It was so good, my wife had me order a second knife holder so we could put more kitchen tools up and out of the drawer mess...

Looks great and works well. Keep in mind that the magnet needs to be a balance between being able to hang on to the knife but not so much that you can’t pull it off. So some heavier ones may slide.Super easy to install and it’s one solid piece of wood with no visible gaps so cleaning should be a breeze.

The magnetic knife holder looks great, and also protects the blades of the knives, since the outside is made of wood. The magnets are very strong! It was very easy to mount to the wall in my kitchen. Just a couple quick measurements, and it was up! It is very well made, easy to clean, and keeps my knives out of a drawer, or in a clunky knife block that takes up a lot of counter space.
