My skin is quite dry, and I’ve found gel cleansers are the best for that. This is one of the ones I love. The only thing is the design on the bottle doesn’t look that great. It looked better before they changed it. I do love the slimmer and taller bottle though.

This is a golden brown colored cleanser that comes out like a gel. It doesn't have much if any fragrance. I can't smell it at all. With water it foams just a bit. I put it on my already wet skin and it foams up in a very fine small foam. It cleanses very well and it does not burn my eyes at all.It's good at taking makeup off and I feel it gets my skin very clean but it does not strip my skin. It's a very gentle, effective cleanser. I typically rinse it off using a micro plush towel, and it's very easy to rinse off like this.It doesn't take much and it is very pleasant to use. The tube is basic but it's easy to control the amount that comes out. I think it's a great value and a good cleanser.The best things about it are that it's gentle and doesn't burn eyes, and it is not drying.

Gel cleanser does a great job cleaning my face. I really wanted to see what CICA is all about. " Most common uses have been for wound and burn healing, prevention and treatment of hypertrophic (raised) scars and inflammatory conditions of the skin." Applying as a facial cleanser doesn't really maximize what cica can do though, because I can only keep it on for so long before I have to rinse it off. Maybe using it long term may have some additive benefits, but I would have to use it a lot longer. There's no smell and is gentle on my skin. I do wish it would dissolve better. Even with extra lathering before applying, I will have little gel chunks in the sink that look like little mucus bits that I have to rinse off so it doesn't gross out other people.
