As a 6'4" person, finding shower accessories that accommodate my height can be a challenge. excellent shower arm. as heavy gauged as any/all shower arms. chrome finish is brilliant. flared over on shower head side to help seat washer... if the fitting in wall is correct/straight, this installs perfectly plumb. needed to use shallow escutcheon for my (extra deep wall fitting) install. this is a great product...

I didn't buy this to use directly to a rainshower head. I use one of those bendy flexible Water-Pik shower heads, the kind on the long flexible tube with multiple water settings? The problem I needed to solve was that the pipe coming out of the wall was low that I had to have very tight bends in the flexible tube to raise the actual shower head to a good height. The tight bends would create kinks in the water's path, restricting the flow. I installed this riser pipe and now it all is working perfectly and NO LEAKS!! It was so easy to install and it looks great, very solidly made.
