Made well
I got this to stir coffee in a French press 34 oz, and it is perfect for that. I like that it's actually made in Japan, too, and not too expensive, although it's just a stick.

Great little stirring.. spoons and coffee straws got nothing on this!
I don't know why, but I love this stick...Being a coffee freak, this is my go-to stirring for the french press, coffee cup, to-go cup, even used it when making tea etc... It washes so easily, and depending on what your stirring, you just need to wash it good, dry it, then done. Being bamboo it doesn't hold flavors or mix flavors, so makes it perfect if you want your cup of joe untouched.Feels pretty sturdy, well made. Overall great product and will probably buy a couple more of these.

It stirs. It’s a stick. Just buy it.
Are you tired of getting a spoon dirty every morning when you need to stir your French Press? Seriously, that’s like 7 spoons a week. Lots of spoons to wash.Just use this stir stick. It’s taller, too. So it’ll be easier to stir.

No French press carafe should be without one.
This stir stick should be purchased with every carafe. I purchased a French press about 10 months ago and of course faced the dalemia of stiring my coffe. I did not want to use plastic because it seemed to change th flavor of my coffee, so I used a metal spoon and tried to be very careful. Two broken carafe later I found this wonderful bamboo stir it's been 3 months now and no more broken carafe's. Thank you Hario Siphon Bamboo Coffee Maker Stir Stick for a perfect saluting.

Decent option for Aeropressers
I use this to agitate grounds in my Aeropress. Personally, I'm using a Prismo, but traditional use is of the Aeropress is similar. I upgraded from using a chopstick because I also use a paper filter on top of the Prismo filter, and the chopstick occasionally tears it. So far, I haven't experienced a single tear with this stirrer after a week of use, and I've intentionally dug in there with it in ways that would guarantee problems with a chopstick.I'd prefer it to be slightly less wide for this purpose, but since it's meant for a different coffee brewing method entirely, I can't hold that against them. Still, it's nimble and efficient enough to make short work of blooming, and agitating once the grounds are immersed is a breeze.I'm only giving four stars because the finish isn't that great. There are some rough spots and tiny splinters, and those rough spots give errant coffee grounds a place they can stick to. It would probably benefit from a light sanding. But for $6, it's a minor complaint.

This simple paddle is a great addition to pour-over coffee making
This simple paddle is a great addition to pour-over coffee making. It seems overly simple, but it's built perfectly for the v60 and it won't tear your filter even if you bury it in the bottom of the funnel while brewing. I use it to stir the bloom and then set it aside after. It hasn't really made a positive difference using it after the bloom, but seems to give a more rounded profile if you stir within the first 30 seconds.

Great!
I use this everyday, when I stir my coffee in my Yeti it barely makes a sound, which my husband loves because stiring with metal spoons against these types of cups, can be loud.

round edge, not flat!
Was hoping for a flat end like the one in the product picture. The one I received has a very rounded edge. I'm using it to scrape the inside of a round container but not as round as the end of the stick if that makes sense. I would be better off with a flat or much less rounded edge (just like the one in the picture of the product I though I was buying!)I'll probably just end up cutting it or something to make it flatter so $5 for a wooden stick I have to shape myself! Not my wisest purchase!Included some pictures so you can see. Nothing wrong with it in itself just different than what I thought I was getting. I even angled it like it is in the picture and it doesn't look the same. I have too much time on my hands right now, lol!
