I enjoyed reading about the late Karl Lagerfeld’s beautiful cat, Choupette and her activities and how she came to be a special part of this great designer’s life. Choupette is a beautiful Birman cat that Karl was given to take care of when she was a kitten. The book describes her health routine, what she eats, glamorous jet setting here and there, funny playful moments and all the people in her life that take care of her. Many cute pictures in the book also. She is a fortunate cat to have had such a happy life with Karl and now her owner who was her previous nanny.

Choupette: The Private Life Of A High-Flying Fashion Cat by Flammarion, this book really describes Choupette from birthdate( weight, height, fur and eye color, etc), species, temperament, leisure and lifestyle, servants, diet( a chronicled collection of the famous feline's favorite recipes), habits, likes and dislikes, even the cat's original owner and how Lagerfeld came to adopt Choupette. It does encompass the love Karl Lagerfeld truly felt for her and the photographs were an attribute to the book. Choupette has a beauty regimen and a fashion muse. Fashion-forward photoshoots grace the book as well as Choupette's personal luxury luggage and tech to give the reader a graphic display that some cat's have all the luck! Flammarion also breaks the history of the species; Birman. Choupette is from a sacred line indeed and Karl revered him and served Choupette like a queen.

An amazing and beautiful story!

Leaves you wanting more, possibly in larger/glossy format. Perhaps Choupette's new caretaker will do this in a tribute to Choupette's late dad, Karl Lagerfeld. There's definitely another book here.

A fun, light-hearted read; we should all be treated as special as Choupette is treated. Since we have lost Herr Karl, I hope that someone is now taking care of Choupette in the grand manner she deserves...

Pretty cute book perfect for every kitty lovers! ❤ ❤ ❤ A bit cute and awkward to read a book about a cat but it's really fun which I won't spoil anything~ ❤ You better grab your copy, totally worth it~ ❤ ❤ ❤

Choupette: The Private Life of a High-Flying Fashion Cat was a Christmas present for my daughter (on Christmas list - she's 23). She absolutely loves it. It combines her two loves, fashion and felines and it will be a perfect addition to her already expansive collection of beautiful coffee table books.

Inexpensive, perfect host gift for someone with a cat.

Da tempo sento parlare della gattina di Karl Lagerferld e complice anche Instagram dopo aver cominciato a seguire la bellissima Choupette ho voluto comprare anche il libro, davvero carino, simpaticissimo stra consigliato a chi come me ama i gatti e colleziona tutto sull’argomento!

El formato es pequeño y el papel de las páginas es opaco y no realza las fotografías, pero el precio es muy adecuado para lo que recibes. No deja de ser un libro bonito para pasar un buen rato. Choupette es preciosa.

J'ai commande ce petit livre car Choupette est le nom que nous avons donne a notre minette adoptee en janvier dans un refuge ici a Las Vegas. Les photos sont magnifiques, les textes aussi et le papier et la couverture sont de qualite. Il y a des recettes de cuisine de grands chefs prepares expres pour la demoiselle mais elles sont bien trop compliquees et je ne suis pas sure que toutes les vitamines y soient. Le livre a pris du temps pour venir car il etait en reimpression mais il est arrive en bon etat. Je le recommande aux fous de chats et/ou de KL.

The only downside is that the book came damaged which was disappointing. You can see that the spine and corner has some tears and cracks in it. I take pride in keeping all my books in really good condition so a bit of a let down. HOWEVER - The book was amazing. Came with recipes that Choupette has made for her, and Karl's love for Choupette really shone through. Was such an uplifting read and for a fellow Kitty parent, it was nice to be privy to someone else's thoughts who also think the world of their animal companion.
