this is good,, Right
Just thought I'd give you all a quick review so you know what to expect when you order. Nothing negative, all positive, start to finish. this is good,, Right? Ordered these mid-afternoon on a Saturday, had them at my door late morning the following Tuesday here in Texas. Great job everyone. Outstanding! After inspecting them, found all in great working order. The only thing I had to do was retie the line on the swivels,(Just me, I only trust my Knots, don't need dinner swimming away). They work Great. If your setting up your camp by a body of water Just hang a couple off a branch and walk away, they fend for themselves, if fish are there they'll catch em. Included was a separate piece of line for each for doing just this. Make sure you use the Hole that is in the frame of the reel for this, (not hard to locate, line is already fed through it, untied). All I did was put a fisherman's Knot in this piece of line to form a loop. Laid the loop over a stout branch and pulled the reel through the loop. Baited the hook, pulled some line from the reel (It's about 8' or so that you can pull off the reel,Maybe a little more), set the trap ketch and dropped it in the water. Piece of cake, easy as that. Have 3 in my backpack and 1 in my regular fishing box. Won't leave home without em. No downside that iv'e encountered. all on the up & up. Will probably order 3 or 4 more at some point in time, just to have on hand. Hope this helps, all fact, no fiction. Happy Holidays to all. Peace!

Stick to trot line
The tension gives out and the string won't reel all the way back in after a couple uses and is not what I expected but maybe it's still usable

Pretty good item if you know how to use them.
Arrived well packaged, but unless you already know how to use these, it may take you a few minutes to figure it all out and how to secure them and such. No instructions came with the package.Also CHECK YOUR LOCAL FISHING REGULATIONS!!!!! These may not be legal in your area.

These are great and work very well particularly the lighter trigger setting. Plan to use them during camping trips and to keep two in a BOB for fishing or snares.
