Honestly, this thing just arrived and I love it already. I have a chocolate lab and short-haired rascal of a mutt that I found by the side of the road a few months ago, and when it comes to grooming, both could take it or leave it. Still, I decided to try this straight out of the box (so I would remember to return it if it was actually a dud), and with the first stroke, one (the rascal) immediately sat up straight for me to continue which he never does, and the other, loved it so much, she immediately flopped back so I could do her belly.The strokes are easy and clearly pleasant for the pup, but they definitely get the job done. At the end of a couple of strokes, there was a nice collection of hair (not too much) and it popped out in satisfying clump with the release button. It was much quicker and easier to clean than the brush I was using and I'm looking forward to finding fewer hair shrines around the apartment!

Extremely happy with this brush. I have the name brand one also. I saw this and the curve part was what caused me to buy. I have felt for years the other one I owned just seemed to pull hair too much and is so flat against my dogs body I couldn't see how it was comfortable. This new one with curve is in my opinion way better. Hair doesn't seem to be pulled by this brush and it moves along coat so much smoother, no feeling like I am digging into my dog as I try to brush him. Gets far more hair off than my name brand one. And the best part is my dog seems to be comfortable with it, I no longer have to hang onto him to brush.

This is the best thing to use on your pet. I got it to use on our cat and it is truly amazing. She does not mind it. It gets all the hair and easy to clean. Just push the button. It is worth the price. I bought it on deal of the day, but I do not think Amazon charged me the deal of the day. Which kind of makes me disenchanted. If you are debating on whether to get this.....Just get it. It really works. I love it.

Yes, five star. Wish I would have found this years ago. We have a very (very) particular 16 yr old cat who sheds like crazy and there is hair everywhere. I have a normal slicker brush, which she tolerates, but it didn't do a good job brushing out the shedding hair. I didn't think she'd like this (remember she's very picky), but from the start she has loved being brushed with it. She's really my husband's cat, but now that I have this tool she comes to me! It's always been that when we pet her, and the light was right, I would see cat hair wafting through the air and we would have hair all over our hands. Yuck! I got enough hair the first time I used it to build another cat. Now she's at the age where she can't groom herself well anymore, either, and has developed horrible mats in her soft undercoat. This is helping me removed those, too, which the normal slicker wasn't able to do. The self-cleaning feature works well, and you can remove the handle to get to harder-to-reach areas. It definitely feels substantial and sturdy enough for larger animals with more coarse hair. Overall a great product.

Love this deshedding comb! Very easy to use and you will be amazed at the amount of hair it pulls out. I have used it on my dog and cat. I was shocked at how much hair it removed!

This is a great deshedding tool that is curved and wider than the Fulminator which makes it faster and easier to use on my 11 pound long-haired Himalayan cat. The handle is curved which makes is comfortable for me and the release button, like on the Furminator, makes it easier to remove the hair. My cat's undercoat hair is so light and flyaway that I found if I dampen my hands it helps eliminate the static when I pull the hair off of the tool. I roll the hair into a ball to throw it out. This may be too big and heavy to use on smaller cats or kittens, but for my guy, it's great!

This really collects the hair -- and gently. The cats have no complaint. I like the option of using it with the handle or without.

I've used this a few times now and it's very good at thinning my cats' undercoats. It comes clean very easily. I've also used the brush that is made by the same company and it also does a fabulous job of cleaning the hair from the brush prongs after use. The only thing I would prefer is a somewhat smaller version of both products since they are a little big for use on my cats. They may make a smaller product but, if so, I couldn't get it. Even in the bigger size, still worthwhile.

This is the best shedding tool I have used so far . my Jack Russell is suspici ous of new unfamiliar doggy tools but she didn't mind this @ all .she has a very thick coat ! brilliant thanks !

Love, love, love this product! Our little Poochon is now happy to have her hair brushed as there is no tugging. The tangles just seem to disintegrate. I highly recommend this for any pet or pet owner who dreads grooming time!!
