Edit Aug. 31, 2024,Absolutely no change in brightness or quality. These GE plug in ultra bright lights have been on for almost 2 years straight. I’m actually about to purchase another set for my office where a low light night light isn’t cutting it. .1st review Oct 2, 2022:I buy a lot of stuff on here with my own money but don't often feel compelled to leave a review. These GE Ultrabright LED night lights definitely deserve one, though.We moved into an older house that doesn't get a lot of light in the front rooms during the day, so you can imagine that it gets extremely dark at night. The hallway gets very little ambient light during the day from the other rooms. There are not a lot of electrical plugs and the hallway light is only accessible from the middle of the hallway. We definitely needed a good light source for the hallway and one for the living room for when we needed to walk around at night.I did a lot of research and buying of different auto shut off and off/on night lights that were too low light. They were ok for other uses but not for the hallway or living room.I finally found these night lights and bought them on November 2, 2021 and it is now October 5, 2022. These lights are still going strong with absolutely no issues. We use one in the hallway that I at first would turn off during the day. I gave up on that after a few days and just leave it on all day, every day, since there's nothing more "fun" than coming out of my office after dark while working from home into a pitch black hallway/house. This allows us to not ever have to turn on the hallway light unless we need a super bright light on, or have company over (only so they don't think we live in constant dimness, even though we do lol. We like it like that, ok??).The other night light is in the living room closest to a bay window and is on auto shut off mode. This one gets enough light to shut off during the day, plus it gives off a bright enough light at night where I can easily see to walk around and don't have to turn on the lamps.At first I thought they were too bright. I will say that if you are planning to use one of these in your bedroom or to have one in the hallway with the doors open, these might not be the lights for you. They are BRIGHT without being overhead light bright. We leave our bedroom door open, which took some getting used to for my partner. I, however, am not a fan of the pitch black dark, so I love them.I know nothing about how much electricity these use, though I would be interested in finding out. I don't think it's listed here on the page. However, our 1930s 3 bedroom home has the (updated) central air on blast throughout the summer and the heat goes strong throughout the winter but our electric bill is around what we expect. Just know that these lights are excellent if you're looking for BRIGHT soft white lighting at an excellent cost.

This light bar turned out to be the perfect solution after realizing I hadn’t thought to install an under-cabinet light in our utility room. There have been many times I’ve wished for a bit more light while cleaning items at the sink, and this product solved that problem beautifully.Initially, I was looking at standard plug-in under-cabinet light bars when I came across this one. I had previously purchased a similar version to use as a night light for the grandkids, so I was already familiar with how bright and effective it was. I knew this model would be even brighter—and it is! Plus, it gives off a soft white light, which is exactly what I was looking for.One of the key features I wanted was a simple manual switch, not a sensor. This light bar fits the bill perfectly with its easy-to-use on/off and low/high settings.I've attached some photos, although they don’t quite capture just how well this little bar lights up the space in person. Overall, I’m really pleased with the quality and functionality.

I love this! I have one in both of my bathrooms. I never have to turn on the overhead light because things are plenty visible (especially nice at night when I don't want to hurt my eyes), but it's dim enough that it doesn't impede on other rooms nearby. I also like it because my cat's litter box is in one bathroom, and although I know he can see well in the dark, I feel better having a bit of light for him.

These lights are super bright! I originally bought them for a bedroom and bathroom night light, but they are way too bright for that. So instead, I put one in the kitchen and one in the living room and before I go to bed I turn them on. They keep those rooms illuminated all night instead of pitch black. The only other thing that didn't work well, is they are supposed to have a light sensor position, and turn off during the day. They do not ever turn off in my home, so they must require a lot of direct light to turn off. Overall, for the re-purpose for I am using them, I'm very happy with them. For anyone using their overhead oven light at night, this is a good replacement.

I have it in my hallway and it gives sufficient light . I like that it has a low light and a high setting as well. I trust the name General Electric they always have made quality products.

Love these. You do have to manually turn them on and off with the little switch but you also have a hi lo option which is really nice. On high, it is very bright but the low setting is perfect. It lights up my whole kitchen with a warm glow and the same with the hallway. Hopefully I won’t trip over my dog anymore. ❤️

We were looking for a VERY BRIGHT nightlight and this is it! We went through several other night lights claiming to be bright...NOPE! This one wins the brightness award! We don't use the motion detection setting, just plug it in at night, keep it to on mode, GREAT as a night light for our geriatric dogs (16 & 14) when we go to sleep at night. Would recommend and we would buy again if needed.
