Wait for the replacement
Normally I love smith's products. Do not drop or bump this sucker. the diamond plates jump off the plastic and have to be glued back on. Two plates = two stars.

Really good sharpener
This is a keeper for sure. It will sharpen your knives very quickly. My husband wouldn’t have any other brand .

Plates fell off, uneven diamonds
Plates fell off while it was still in the packaging. Had to super glue it back on. Also the 750 grit plate diamonds are uneven on the edges and the diamonds are completely missing from the bottom right corner
