Great for sealing items for either the freezer or the refrigerator. They are the perfect size for almost all my leftovers and are better for marinating foods.The bags are very thick, so once sealed they are leak proof.So if you want to save your leftovers without a mess this is the way to go.Place the food into the bag making sure you don't block the suction port.Lay the bag flat and press on the zipper from both ends making sure it's completely shut. I actually use a clothespin for this step.Hold the hose accessory in place on the port and turn it on.In just a few seconds the air will start to be removed and the plastic will start molding to shape around the food. Once the air is all out the machine should stop on it's own.And that's all there is to it.If your bag doesn't seem to be airtight it may be it's not closed completely. Stop your machine, open the bag all the way, and starting on one end make sure the zipper is closing completely.Then try again.

fair productsome bags do not stay sealed after 10-15 minutes, however the items Im sealing are not uniform in shape and are hard so the bag has to acquire a unique shape when the air is removed. Im sure food products or regular shaped items would seal fine. Bags are very strong and thick, solid product. Fast shipping.

We freeze a lot of the produce we grow...and harvest time tends to flood us with veggies to freeze. These bags let's us open and close the freezer bags as needed...no resealing needed. They can also be re-vacuumed to reduce air and freezer burn very easily. Lastly, they are reusable! Love 'em.

This is a great size of food saver resealable bags to use for the harvest from the garden. I plan to use it for tomatoes and other bags for green beans so I can just pull out as much as I want and then reseal it again. Great value for the money spent.
