This is an amazing little school bus faithfully made to look like the real Full-sized school buses! For me, this will not be played with as it is a collector's item. The lights and horn works and also the engine starting up too. As for durability, it probably won't man handle heavy duty play with kids (light play) as it is not a Tonka truck or tank!!! lol. My grandson loves busses so I purchased this. First it's a great size. And it make sound! The door when it opens and the hood when you press on it. He loves that!! And, by pulling it back, it can go all by itself. This bus stays out all during his weekly visits with us.

One of the better bus toys we have purchased for one of our boys, the lights work, door opens and closes and has fully functioning wheels. It's definitely durable a 6 year old has had hours of car playing & plenty of demolition derby's with it and it is still 100% intact NO little pieces have broken or broken off and left sharp edges.

This requires a micro Philips head screwdriver to remove two plastic frames on the bottom. It can't work without removing them as the wheels need to spin backwards to push forwards and power on the lights. Idk why it has police lights on a schoolbus, but one more thing for the kid I guess. Nephew liked it, unfortunately couldn't use it out of the box as it doesn't come with the tools needed for assembly. Wasn't expecting assembly required for it as it isn't needed. The plastic frames were a confusing choice over the twist ties most toys use to hold them in place in the box. It's sturdy and heavy metal construction otherwise. The door and rear door open and close. It has good force to propel itself forward.
