Size is adjustable and very easy to use. Perfect for little ones. They extend really long so that factor would make them safe for you children. They cone with a storage bag and they can be reduced down to size maybe 7 inches.I love ours.Great product!!

These are AWESOME, especially for the price! I love that they come in their own pouch so they don't get lost or separated in all of our kitchen drawers, and I'm also impressed with the addition of the different little color choices on the handles so my kids can keep track of which one is theirs, even after they run back down to the beach between hotdog and smores (we use them in the firepits at Huntington Beach to roast dinner and desserts)! They extend out further than a lot of others we've had, which is great, since I have little ones who have had their little hands and fingers get WAY too hot with the shorter versions. I am a impressed with them, I've purchased them as gifts for my friends and family who have RV's or are avid campers!

For the price of 8 this should be a 5 star rating, but that's not the type of guy I am. They say it's all fun and games until you loose a weiner and this product does assist in keeping a firm grasp on your weiner , or marshmallows or maybe even a tiny game hen. The reason for the 4 star rating is simply they built the product for this price range. We did manage to break one but in fairness it wasn't being used as intended. You definitely shouldn't buy this to cook a whole turkey (not how it got broke) but it is made well enough to handle whatever meat you throw at it. If your using these for late night light sabre battles I suggest wearing eye protection. Unless you are dying to spend 30$ buy these. If you don't try to poke holes in the empty lantern fule can I'm sure they will last 2 or 3 years.

These were a surprise present for my boys at Christmas. We used them the next night over our fire pit and they worked great. They are basically a car antenna with a handle and a fork at the end. No problem for one hot dog, but bendy with 2 on. Excellent with the marshmallows. Washed up nicely. These will be great for future camp-outs and come with a carrying pouch as shown.

These are more than just a stick you can use above a campfire. They are more than long enough to keep you safe and comfortable from the fire as your food is roasting away on the other end. Yet, they are compact enough to easily be carried in the nice bag they provided with them. There are many (8) of these sticks in the bag so a lot of people can participate at one time. Even better is that they each have their own color bands on them, so you can remember which one was yours, and not pick up the wrong one. They are light weight, but they do fine with most items you will out on the end. If you need them to be stronger, just collapse down the last joint. It will be shorter but still long enough, but much stronger. The handle is a decent wood, which is easy to hold, and probably adds a bit of cooling ability to the metal stick.

We bought these so our grandkids can enjoy smores without getting too close to the fire. The length is the longest we could find and they work great!! Very sturdy even though they are long.

These are nicely made and finished. The handles appear to be some sort of smooth, coated wood, with a color-coded plastic ring attached. The "wand" part is chrome-plated steel, and telescopes like a radio antenna. The forked tips are cut flat for safety, not ground to a sharp point. Due to the wood handles and telescoping parts, I would not recommend placing them in the dishwasher; just burn off the marshmallow goop and hand-wash if desired. There are a couple of amusing "English as a second language" typos on the packaging. One chuckle-inducing typo is the phrase "32' TELESCOPING FORKS". You'd need a flatbed truck to deliver eight, thirty-two-foot forks.Whoever posted that the forks don't rotate makes me wonder, what did you think; that they come with little electric motors? You simply twirl it with your fingers.Now that you have s'more s'more roasters, get out there and have s'more s'mores!

Flimsy when using. Too short for a full hot dog but good for marshmallows. Get Watcha pay for I suppose.
