This drum arrived really quickly and sounds amazing! The only reason for 4.5 stars is it came with what looks like a sharpie marking on the skin of the drum…I’m not sure what happened and assume someone accidentally drew on it while packaging the drum. If it didn’t have a funky sharpie marking on it I would definitely give it a 5 star rating!! Pictured is the sharpie drawing on the drum.I am a sound healer and currently have an elk skin drum that I use for sessions, but the quality of sound changes so drastically depending on humidity levels that it wasn’t reliable for a nice ringing rich tone. This one sounds similar but will not change due to temperature and humidity! I’m super excited to try it out in sessions and sound baths!*edit* I contacted the seller directly and they instructed me to exchange the drum and said that was very unexpected and should not have been sent to me in that condition. They were super helpful and I will be sending the drum back and getting a new one!Edit again: I got the new one really quickly and sent out the one that had sharpie on it! The new one sounds great and is in perfect condition! Back to 5 stars!

Perfect. I go through one of these drums about every 9 months or so with the strength at which I play and how often. But these are the best for traveling and not worrying about fluctuations in temperature. Very consistent drum. Always a lovely sound.

I ordered a drum that had been previously returned. At half the price, I was willing to take the risk. It arrived in perfect condition, in original packaging. No defects to drum, packaging was a little worse for wear, but who cares?Nice, deep sound. Light enough to hold for extended periods. Attractive, except for the very prominent logo on both the drum head and beater. I painted the beater black with acrylics. I've been using a Mr. Clean magic eraser on the drumhead logo with good effect. The logo is 80% erased after 25 minutes of scrubbing, another 20 minutes and I'm sure it will be gone completely. :) No damage at all to head.Very pleased with purchase.

This drum sounds amazing, it has a very deep, resonate tone, well made, and well worth the price. I may purchase another.

So this was my very first frame drum and I also ordered the very popular Remo 16" Buffalo Bahia Black Earth drum as well, which is arriving tomorrow. I listen to and watch videos from Norse/Celtic Pagan folk bands like EiWar, Eivor, Heilung, A Tergo Lupi, OTYKEN, Othala, Omnia, Faun, to name a few and wanted to play the drum like they do in their songs. I have been looking up my game and improve my rhythm as I play the Ukulele, acoustic Guitar, NAF, and the Tin Whistle. This will make me a better musician, and allow me to connect with the warrior and beast side within. The primal beats are calling.
