You cannot get the ants if you are in UK
If you live in the UK and you don’t want to have the additional cost of sourcing and paying for ants separately I would buy an ant kit that is from the UK and not this one. The cost of the whole product is supposed to cover the ant farm and a voucher to order your ants.I wasn’t expecting the additional cost as it’s advertised that it included a voucher for your ants. It isn’t easy finding ants randomly that are inexpensive to purchase alone!The product is nice but annoying we have a farm and no ants 😂

Dodgy light
Turned up and when opened the light did not work due to a dodgy connection

Very disappointing
This item looks great but all of my baby ants have got stuck in the blue slime and all have died. I only have the queen left and now need to buy a new home for her and hopefully she will survive. Waste of money do not buy.

Unethical
Gel ant farms are just plain unethical, the ants will either drown in the gel, starve, suffocate as this set up has no ventilation or be infected by the rapid build up of mould.If you want to give your kids some ants, just use a jar and soil.If you want to actually keep a colony, do research into how to keep them long term, do not attempt to use this.
