Only BluRay available works well. No finished sides
We installed the unit as a supplementary source in a medium sized installation in a Sprinter and it does what it is supposed to do ! It turns on it plays discs as it supposed to. It is a custom install piece or to go into a single DIN location as the sides are NOT finished. I was a bit apprehensive to order because of the mixed reviews, but unit has worked so fine thus far

AUTOPRO BD1208 - Strongly recommend DO NOT BUY!
I was pretty excited to find a single din Bluray player for our rv. I installed and tested the unit with great results. Less than a month after installing the unit developed a LOUD humming noise that was unbearable while it was turned on. I contacted the vendor (after the 30-day return window had passed) and they sent a new deck once they received the defective one back. (Return shipping was $28.00, my expense.) I received the second deck within a week and installed it and the deck would not draw in a disc. I have sent two notes to the vendor with no response. So I am warning potential buyers the odds of wasting ~$300 is pretty high. ****UPDATE 08/03/2024**** I just received a return label and a very sincere apology from this vendor for the trouble we experienced. They promised a full refund upon return of the defective unit. A great way to close out this transaction. Upgraded rating from 1 to 3 stars because they are backing they're product. I am shopping a different brand and hope that others who choose this Bluray player have better luck than I did.

A great solution for a Blu-Ray player for a camper.
Our camper is not super huge, so we really wanted something we could install and be out of the way. The quality is good, and with just a little plastic cover case we have it tucked in there nice and clean and out of the way, hidden in a cupboard. The only thing we ran into, and this isn't necessarily the fault of the player, but when we would plug the camper into shore power it would blow the fuse from a voltage spike. ...hence the significantly over-engineered relay that disconnects the player in the event of power interruption. But this only happens for a quick instant when first connecting to power. It's sending a full 1080p to the TV, but you will need to scrub through the menu to turn the resolution all the way up, I think that since the use case is for probably smaller screens it defaults to a lower resolution.

Installed 3 units.... all defective is short time. No customer service.
I have a custom built Sprinter RV. We have replaced this particular unit 3 times now, and the third unit I have ordered does not fit well the metal encasing provided. The prior unit stopped working properly after just a few short months, and the first unit was less than a year old prior to malfunctioning. I have contacted customer service to see if I could exchange (even though I was past the exchange period since my RV spent a year in the shop being fixed due to pandemic supply chain shortages) but no response. Even if they responded to say no with a valid reason I would accept, but no response is unacceptable. I would look for another option.

It works
I've got a ramp van for my disabled son, the dvd player was toast, this made a fine replacement, required nothing extra just proper installation. it even resumes properly sometimes when the power is cut in the right way, no skipping, exactly what I hoped to achieve with this being my only good option. I haven't tried my own movies but it has a usb input and a SD card slot, so hoping that goes well but dvd's and blurays aren't that expensive really. You should probably drive around if using this.

CD stuck
We got this for our RV, so we haven't even used it 3 times! We were doing some work in the RV and played a CD, but afterwards it wouldn't eject. Tried and tried, but it's stuck in there. We are way past the 30 day return since it isn't being used much, sitting in the RV. There is no way to contact the seller, who is in China. For $240, this unit is a total waste of money. We had to pull the whole unit and will bring to a repair shop, at our cost. Update: We pulled the unit and took it to our electronic repair shop. He couldn't fix it either, no parts for it. So another $60 in the trash. HUGE waste on money. Really unhappy with this whole transaction.

Best Car Blu-Ray DVD Player on the Market!!
We love our Blu-Ray DVD Player! We had it professionally installed in July and having been using it for almost 6 months now. The only complaint I have, is the "enter" button was pushed by my husband and it pushed through into the DVD Player face plate. We don't use the remote, but I would think after only 6 months the buttons would be a little more sturdier than that; especially for something that isn't used often. Other than that, we have had no issues with the DVD Player! Our blu-rays play just fine and we couldn't be happier!! Thank you Autopro for allowing us to be able to watch our Blurays in the car!!!
