Lighting EVER UL Listed Power Adapter, 3A, 120V AC to 12V DC Transformer

I settled on this unit to use with a 16 foot LED light strip that didn't have its own power supply with it. To be honest I wasn't totally thrilled with any of the options I was seeing on Amazon - meaning that none were jumping out to me as the "clear" winner for a safe and reliable transformer. I am a bit more picky about this type of product than most as I definitely don't want an adapter that melts on me and could potentially start a fire! The majority of reviews on this product were positive and it wasn't *so* cheap that I had doubts about possible quality so I decided to go for it. I have been checking on this strip daily since installing it about 10 days ago. I don't generally run it for more than four hours of a time so I can't speak as to how it would fare if left on nonstop, but I am feeling comfortable with it for occasional use and not noticing any heat issues. If it does fail I will update my review but for now I'm a very satisfied customer. I will be buying a couple more of these to install light strips in other locations.

Ease of use. Well built, seems reliable.

Works ok... there's a 2 second delay when connected to a switch. Not too happy about it However they have great customer service!

I bought my daughter an LED light strip, but it did not come with the power supply. I ordered this to go with her Light strip. it worked great so far and my daughter now has a bright red light strip across the top of her room which she loves. if I have any problems with this in the future I will contact the seller to try to get the issue repaired and if that falls through then I will update my review. I have 4 of these units installed on top of and inside my kitchen cabinets serving LED strings for countertop and overhead. They work perfectly. Slight delay when turning on. None are supplying strings longer than 16', and a couple supply only about 4' of LEDs, and there does seem to be a difference in the resulting transformer temperature - those supplying more power run hotter. But not really hot in any case, even when installed inside cabinets. The long AC and DC cords are VERY convenient, allowing the transformers to be installed well away from the LED strips themselves. So far very satisfied after about 1 month of use - will update if I have any problems.
