TL;DR: Screen=5 stars; be careful of scratching the magnetic pad behind the screen, you may need to order extra screws and double sided tape.No major problems installing the new screen or components on the new screen. The screen colors look good, although for the first few hours a visible line was present in the center. Thankfully, it hasn't reappeared. So I'm giving the screen a 5 star rating.However, I am having an issue with the magnetic mapping pad from a centimeter down of the viewable screen. While disassembling from the original screen, I scratched the magnetic pad and have ordered a replacement to remedy this issue.Advice: Remember this is just a screen, so be careful not to strip or lose the screws. Also, order double sided tape to properly seal the screen to the case. If you don't you will risk leaving your phone open to the elements. If the home button doesn't seat correctly, you can use double sided tape to hold it in place.

Worked amazing.I can't tell the difference from original and replacement screen what so ever. I was unsure if I would purchase because of all the negative reviews - but I needed a replacement. It cost $250 if I were to have the screen replaced in store. If you purchase initial phone insurance it is a $250 deductible.. so it is a lose/lose - you pay either way. I agree with the other reviewers the negative reviews are mainly due to installation/human error. It is a costly item to mess up if you don't install it correctly. A friend installed this and had repaired phone screens many times for others, so I can't comment on the tools it came with, only the finished product. I would highly recommend the product to anyone. If you don't know how to repair yourself have someone else who is familiar do it for you because the end product you cannot tell a difference!

Great kit that comes with all necessary tools for anyone who is knowledgable enough to DYI fix their screen. The replacement is decent quality that doesn’t scratch super easily and has withstood multiple waist-high (I’m 5’10”) falls. As long as you order the specific screen required for your phone and you know what you’re messing with, you should have no hassle and it’s a bit of a cheaper option versus a shop that could easily charge you a $100 min rate. As many times as I’ve smashed an iPhone screen, just ordering a screen from Amazon and replacing it myself has saved me a fortune!

Good screen. Most tools work good, the little edge tool sucks and doesn't get into edges really at all. I used a razor blade to be able to get the pick under the screen. Also, you will have to move the speaker, mic, and camera on the top to new screen from old screen and the home button. Not sure the instructions tell or the description tells you that. It's not easy but it is do able if your careful. Thanks for good screen. I'd recommend better edge tool tho. Good luck anyone who does this. Be gental and take your time.

Bought this for my son to fix the screen on his iphone 6s plus. He did watch the videos online and it took him a little bit as he did say he was having an issue with a couple of the screws. Well worth the $$ though, phone works great again so far!

Of course it isn't going to be perfect compared to the original, but this does the job. Used it to replace my phone screen and honestly it isn't noticeable that it's any different except sometimes whenever around the letter c on the keyboard , it'll hit multiple buttons, but it only happens if I don't hold it at a certain angle. It's quick and easy to install, anyone could do it (just don't lose your screws!) would buy again if I ever cracked my screen

The screen came in perfect condition. Before working on any device, I did my usual CYA checklist. I tested touch screen, front/back cameras, home button, volume buttons, power button, microphone, speakerphone, ear speaker, proximity sensor, and charging port. Everything checked out. After replacing the screen, I performed my checklist again. The phone was not screening off during phone calls. I suspected a faulty proximity sensor, so I went back and double-checked my work. Everything looked fine but it still was not functioning. I discovered that, for some strange reason, you had to place your finger on a large portion of the top of the touch screen to get the screen to turn off. I switched back to the old, cracked LCD and the issue went away. I sent the screen back as defective and ordered another one only to be sitting here after attempting this screen to find the SAME THING is happening. My client is pissed off because they've had to wait for both attempts, which makes me look bad for using poor quality parts. Time to go back to getting parts on eBay; never had any issues there.

Awesome!!! Perfect for the price. Took about two hours to do with the help of YouTube videos. The screen isn't extremely flat at the top but honestly mine is going to STAY in the case from now on so who cares.
