Map of Santorini ~ Terrain Map 313 (Waterproof and rip-proof hiking map)

Excellent map, very accurate and easy to use For general exploration of the island as a leisure visitor. Only minor criticism would be that most of the windmills marked on are either falling down, no longer there or are not real i.e. they are new buid fake windmills for tourist accom. We covered all the main roads and towns and several minor ones and only found two windmills marked that could be considered real and intact. Perhaps there should be seperate map symbols showing those that are real/intact and those that are fake or ruins only as the windmills are a key thing that visitors to santorini want to see

The printers claim the 'paper' wont tear - well we decided to be rough on the map. It didn't tear.If you expect UK Ordnance Survey detail - forget it. In places detail is really lacking. I know Santorini has 360 churches and at least 3 in Pyrgos. Only 1 is marked in Pyrgos.A relatively new housing development has many round 'windmill like' houses up a hill side - yes they are all marked as windmills!It is large for manipulating in a standard hire car, hence some of the rough treatment. But is does have better detail than most other maps we've come across for Santorini.

Fantastic map. very clear and detailed. Have used other maps of this type for other Greek Islands and all are exceptionally accurate. Other travellers and even locals marval at the detail and accuracy. Cant fault it.
