High quality but good value!
Very good quality card wallet - I used to write a reviews after every purchase, now I tend to leave it for the thing that really stands out, good or bad. This deserves a few moments, it’s one of those gems amongst a sea of options, and to be honest, I’d been looking a while and just decided to make a choice, based on not much.I was pleasantly surprised, sufficiently to order a second, simply so I can have one for my work access cards and ID, and one for my none work related cards. I’ve looked several times at the much pricier versions, I just can’t bring myself to spend over £100 on a wallet. Trust me, you do not need to, this is the one; the switch to pop the card up - solid and works, the space for the ID cards - cards fit perfectly and properly viewable, space for the cards in the pop up section - ample and secure, the covering of the wallet - looks nice, compact and durable, a really tidy functional little wallet!!

Security, quality and functionality at a great price
I’ve got out of the habit of spending cash these days so have retired my traditional cash and cards folding wallet. That only really comes out now when travelling abroad but sometimes not even then. For quite a while the Secrid pop-up card wallets were the only decent product of their kind available. I have used one of those and whilst it was really nicely made and smooth in function, it was quite expensive. As it was intended as a present for a friend I passed it on and couldn’t really justify the expense of buying one for myself. Some time and research later, I came across the Vulkit brand of pop-up card holders and these seemed to offer a bit more functionality for somewhat less money.I chose this particular wallet as it held a reasonable number of cards without being too bulky. One of the key differences in the pop-up mechanism is that unlike the Secrid brand, the lever to raise the cards is on the side of the wallet so is easily operated with the thumb. I actually prefer this setup but I guess it’s really down to the individual what works best for them. This is a smooth process and the cards spread out quite nicely when you activate the lever. It is easy to then select the card you want to use and then it’s a simple matter to push the cards back down into the metal casing when you are finished. As well as housing the mechanism, the aluminium casing also serves to provide the RFID blocking.Aside from the metal case, the bulk of the wallet is made of good quality leather and it does have a slight leather smell about it which is always reassuring! There are two compartments on the outside (one at the front and one at the back) which I find are useful places to keep a travel smartcards such as Oyster, Bee or Swift. I would guess that these are also places to put banknotes (as described in the listing) although I don’t really use them for that purpose. Then inside there are two further slots with windows for ID cards and a further leather compartment for another card or two.I’m very pleased with this wallet. It is a good size to fit in my pocket and the price for this quality and functionality is very good. It’s also nicely boxed and would make a good gift. The other choices of Vulkit branded wallets also look pretty good with options of more cards, cash, the lever at the bottom, just the metal part, different colours and styles and so on.I very much recommend this particular product and if it doesn’t quite suit your needs, do have a look at the other Vulkit wallets.

Feels durable, looks smart, great item.
I've been wanting to try out a minimalist wallet for a bit, so I purchased one that just had space for cards and a clip for cash and I liked it but it had drawbacks... then I found this one. And I love it.I need an easy way to display my bus drivers licence and this had the window flip out for that. On the other side was space I am using for cash then one of the side slips I keep my coffee cards... its great. Space for everything and literally 60% smaller than my old wallet. In today's world where cash is less and less of a thing, this is perfect.Delivery was great. Fast.

BRILLIANT
Well, its been a year now, (2 Years now -edited) time for an honest review. Absolutely love this bit of kit. Keeps all my cards safe from scanners. I keep 5 cards in the section that pops up with the push/slide of a button like a set of ladders. Its robust. It has been loose in my pocket for everyday of the last year with keys and loose change and all other garbage sometimes even nail clippers :). It still looks like new outside. Inside, some signs of wear on the metal box that holds the cards but minimal and it cannot be seen when closed, like I would care anyway. Never missed a beat when needing a card. I have my COOP card at the back and my main debit at the front and its like a well drilled operation now, slide button, COOP card out beep, back in, Debit card out, beep back and away in seconds. I can see people looking and thinking how organised it all looks and have been a few times what it is. There were many more expensive alternatives but being used to a standard wallet for all my years (62 now) I wanted an entry level to see how I would adjust with the intention being to upgrade at some point when this one gives up the ghost. Seems it will outlie me at this rate lmao. If you are looking at getting one of these I would say hand on heart buy this one its great quality leather and very good mechanics all around. Tara!

3 years on, still satisfied
Realized recently I’ve been using this wallet for 3 years now and I was impressed at how well it was holding up, and thought I’d give a quick review.I’ve been using this wallet daily, primarily for my Oyster card access, and less so for other cards (don’t use much for payments now with Apple Pay but occasionally for other loyalty card access). The card access slider is occasionally stiff but it hasn’t caused major problems, and Oyster card tapping/recognition works just fine, despite having my drivers license on the other side of the flap. There is minor wear on the top corners of the metallic inside, but the leather and the stitching is just like new.I got this one after a similar wallet I had before did not survive a year. This is definitely worth a try if you’re looking for something compact and long lasting. Hope this helps.
