Patterns: Inside the Design Library

I work at a brewery in the branding department. I help oversee a ton of design projects in which we need to provide our artists with solid reference material. This book is hands down the most delightful of its kind that I have found so far. I absolutely cannot wait to use it!

This book is full of pictures of graphic art. Nothing is revolutionary or nearly as interesting as the cover, notes and price suggest. I suggest reading it in the 10 minutes you’re waiting for your doctor to call your name and leave it for the next patient. Nice ride to rent but not buy.

Gorgeous, high-quality pages. Makes a great gift for anyone, professional or amateur, interested in design or color.

I don't know when this high-end publisher started making art books on what I deem inferior paper. I saw lots of hype for this book and well the patterns are beautiful I'm not blown away.

Ink stains all over the book.I had to send back

The book arrived on time and as described. It was a gift for my daughter and she is very pleased with it.

As being an interior designer I liked the book very much, but.... I found the book to create more expectations than the given examples . There are so much wonderful patterns, that I do agree it is impossible to show all of them. But the thing I missed most is the absence of the Chinese patterns altogether - that is pity.
