GE Sun Filled LED Light Bulb, 60 Watt, Soft White, A21 (1 Pack)

I recently replaced every single light bulb in my house with these GE Sun Filled LED Light Bulbs, and I couldn’t be happier! After just 24 hours, I felt an immediate difference in both my mood and energy levels. As someone who suffers from Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), winter can be a tough time for me. I didn’t want to adjust my medication, so I started looking for alternatives to boost my energy and mood during the darker months. That’s when my psychiatrist recommended these full-spectrum bulbs that mimic natural sunlight.One of the challenges I faced was finding full-spectrum bulbs that didn’t give off that cold, sterile white light that you often see in hospitals (which makes me feel anxious). I wanted something warm and inviting, and these bulbs hit the mark perfectly! Despite being 60-watt equivalents, the light output is comparable to my old 100-watt bulbs – I hardly noticed any difference in brightness, which is great because they still offer plenty of light.The real magic, though, is in how these bulbs have transformed my mood. Within a day, I felt my energy levels increase dramatically, and the creative block I’d been struggling with for weeks vanished. I’m now back to writing as if it were spring or summer. These bulbs have truly shaken me out of the sluggishness I typically feel when winter approaches.I've been telling everyone I know about these bulbs! If you’re feeling skeptical, trust me, they work. Everytime a lightbulb goes out, I get irrationally annoyed, sure it's a minor inconvenience, but it feels like the universe is conspiring against my productivity. Nevertheless, there is a silver lining! I get to replace my old, dim, bulbs with these beauties (4 now). The brightness is fantastic, perfect for a PhD studrnt like me that basically lives in his office and only sees the sun through past recollections.

It's a really good light, I have one under my loft bed and gave another to my mom to use in her bedside lamp. It's really bright, sometimes blindingly so, but it's got a nice soft yellow color. My only complaint is that for an LED it does get really hot if you happen to accidentally leave it on all day.To show the difference in brightness, I've included a couple of photos taken at 11pm of my sketchbook and easel, one with all the lights in my room off except for my led ambient lights and the other with the ambient lights *and* the GED sun light.

Impressed

I really like these bulbs. They provide a beautiful, warm glow that I find lifts my mood. They are not nearly as bright as the daylight bulb, but do provide a good amount of light. Just to note: last year I purchased them for $4 each. Now they are $11. Inflation is under control!

These give the perfect color and brightness.

This is a full spectrum light bulb that I have put in the lamp next to my chair. Its a wonderful light on a gloomy day. I intend to buy another one to replace the other bulb in the lamp. Together I think they will be even better at helping me escape gloomy weather.

I was looking for a bulb to use with my lamp or in my ceiling light to mimic sunlight without the migraines I get from actual sunlight. I tend to keep my room relatively dark due to recent issues with photophobia and was hoping this would help for me. However, I tried the three bulbs with the floor lamp and the ceiling one, however, perhaps as I received defective items, all three flickered quite noticeably. I made sure the lamp and the dimmer I was using with it were compatible with the bulbs and did a lot of research but was disappointed with the issue.The bulbs themselves, however, excluding the flickering issue, were not bad in terms of brightness and color. They had a warming effect in the room and the different dimming settings were variant enough to get different amount of brightness into a room.If you are considering one of these bulbs, I would make sure to keep the packaging on hand just in case a return is necessary.
