I bought this as a gift for a relative who had just had emergency eye surgery. He was really happy with it as it meant he could have his head supported while he kept his head down. I bought him this one and another one so he had a variety of heights to rest his head and therefore use different neck muscles. He found it helpful and used the two for the 10 days while his eye was healing with his head down. It's thick yet soft enough to lay on. He could also see with his good eye.

The perfect pillow for face down sleeping/resting after eye surgery. The cool bamboo cover is very comfortable. It is also easy to remove, wash and air dry. The memory foam cushion means it doesn’t collapse overnight. There is also a drawstring to pull the two “horns” closer together for the ultimate comfort.
