Tape King Anti-Slip Tape, 4"x30' Roll - Indoor/Outdoor Safety Traction for Stairs, Steps, Ramps, Treads

11-17-22I recommend this tape for your wooden stairs indoors or outdoors to prevent slips and falls. Great price and holding up thus far.It’s been one month since I attached the anti-slip tape on our deck stairs, and I am pleased with the results. I attached during a three-day dry spell. Before applying the tape, I cleaned the stairs with a brush and rag. I also rounded the corners with scissors.I live in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains of Oregon where it is very wet. So this tread tape has been exposed to rain, frost and plenty of feet!If you look closely at the second photo, you will see a very small area peeling up. After one month, this is the only noticeable area that will need addressed. I will either cut off the end or use a staple gun to affix the slight blemish.

This product worked just great. I used it on my painted wooden steps going to the basement. The anti-slip tape was easy to cut and has good adhesion and the fifteen foot roll was plenty for the tewlve steps. I like the look of this four inch wide tape and it will be safer when going down the steps.

I added a deck and porch to the front and back of my house since the stairs are wood and get very slippery during times of rain/sleet/snow I decided to add some security to the stairs for me and my grandparents. They stick very well if you sand down the wood and clean up the sawdust before applying, this was perfect for a 4 foot strip on each set of stair. They stick well and bond quickly so far after a few weeks of being stepped on I have seen no sign of them coming up at the ends (like others have said)

The tape has a nice ability to stick on certain things I would think, I wrapped it around the grab bars in my shower for my wife to have a hand grip as she has had a stroke. Two of the wraps keep unwrapping.overall I am satisfied with the quality. My rating OK is simply for the small use I have need of. But I am sure it will adhere well for other needs

I needed this tape for the stairs up to the front door. Being in the great Northwest, we get a LOT of rain which makes wooden stairs basically a death trap. In comes traction tape, a great alternative to painting sand onto the steps (which I planned on doing until I saw this tape). I applied these during the fall when the wood wasn't dry after three days of sun... But I wanted it applied before the season's got worse. After the first day of rain, these did come up a bit, but general suction kept them applied to the board. I am sure if the wood wasn't damp when I applied them intially, there would be no problem of them moving around now. I am still very satisfied and pre-bought a second roll to apply appropriately. I also wanted to mention that this company gives great advise for applying this tape that came in quite handy.

Ordered last minute for my camper stairs for my giant clumsy dog and it worked as expected

The label indicates 4" x 30ft. I planned to install three, 10' sections and trusted the label when I cut the first, two lengths at exactly 10' each. I was unhappy to discover that the third section measured 4" short of 10'. So, my installation does not look as good as it might have. Otherwise the product seems to be OK. I applied the tape to a rough tile surface on a ramp leading up to my garage. This is in southern Viet Nam and it is really, really hot (~ 100°F). The tape performed perfectly.Update: Because the roll I received was a little short, the manufacturer contacted me immediately upon seeing this review and has offered to send me a replacement AND refund the purchase price. Well, I applied this on a ramp down to my house to provide some traction on the painted wood ramp. I did it when the temperature was above 50. Within a week, some were getting loose and had to be placed back on the ramp. They held up during the move but started to deteriorate after a couple months. I had always planned to apply non-skid paint to the ramp (which I've done), so I removed them after about 10 weeks. Some had really good adhesion, but most of them were very loose. They served their function and weren't that expensive. I'd use these again under similar circumstances.
