Very sturdy, high quality. I bought it to tie ribbon to it and use it to play with my cats :)
This is extremely sturdy (I think if we had 2, I could use it as a "sword" and play with my son without it breaking). Feels nice to the hand. Extends really far. Very nice quality. Tip is also high quality and no concerns with it coming off ever by accident.I actually bought this to make my own cat toy. I tie curling ribbon to the end and move it all around and they love it. All the rods that come as official cat toys are not sturdy and break within a matters of 1-2 months. So regardless of how you will use it, you won't be dissapointed.

Great for pointing out parts
I'm a truck driving instructor, so I teach truck inspections. I have to point out engine parts and explain them. I need this pointer. I use it daily.

My Everyday Pointer
This is my everyday pointer for work. As a mental health therapist I use this pointer most often for BrainSpotting. My clients can see the tip very well as long as I don’t use a white background wall.
