I bought the ASPECTEK 20 W Electric Bug Zapper to deal with flies and moths in the house, and honestly, I’m impressed. It’s been running for a couple of weeks now, and here’s what I’ve found. Build & Setup It feels well-made—metal housing with a protective cage so you don’t accidentally touch the grid. I had it unpacked, plugged in, and working in under two minutes. You can either hang it up or just place it on a countertop. Performance Within minutes of switching it on, I noticed it catching bugs. The zap sound is pretty quiet, just a little pop when something gets hit, which I actually find satisfying. I’ve used it mainly in the kitchen and living room, and it’s made a noticeable difference—far fewer flies buzzing around. Cleaning & Maintenance The tray at the bottom slides out easily, so emptying it is quick. I give it a rinse every few days, and that’s it. I like that it comes with two spare bulbs, so I won’t need to worry about replacements for a while.

Don't waste your time and money, the product worked fine for two days, then a loud pop and it went dead, changed the fuse and still nothing. Returning the item now for refund as unable to contact supplier. It's a pity, because when it was working for those two days it was quite effective ... if anyone is still considering buying one then also be aware that the cable is very short, it's only 1.3 meters long, plus because it comes out of the back of the unit it will not sit flat against the wall if wall mounted.

As described, speedy delivery and great comms. Very sturdy for size, bonus is spare bulbs as not always easy to source. Do the job effectively would certainly recommend.

i have spent loads on things to kill the flys etc, but nothing worked, so i thought i would try the aspectec indoor electronic bug zapper, after reading reviews and doing some research on them, i am SO VERY MUCH delighted with this, ive had no flys roaming around, they go to it instantly, yes it makes you jump when a fly lands on it but you get use to it after a couple of days, [ well i did ], best thing ive purchased in a long while, its worth every single penny, was delivered within two days of ordering, i would give it 10 stars if i could, my sister and my friend are also going to order one tonight after seeing the results when they visited today, thank you so much to seller and to amazon, i no longer have dirty flys flying around, and i dont have to clean and disinfect several times a day !! The unit stopped working within one hour of being switched on. The fuse in the plug was still working (checked in another appliance) and the wall socket was still working (checked with another appliance). The bulbs were obviously brand new so it was possible but unlikely that both had blown in the first few minutes. No flies were harmed in the course of this experience.

So far so brilliant. It's been a game changer in our kitchen. The only downside and why it lost a star, as others have mentioned, is that the power cable is big, bulky and far too short, making it difficult to site the unit in the most appropriate position.

Really working, best fly catcher

Worked well for 3months then gave a pop and nothing. Changed bulbs carefully. Put no sign of life . Had to order another make . Short turn ok but if you want something to last more than a few months look for something else. Expensive for what it is .

Alırken çok araştırdım, verilen paraya değecek bir ürün almak istedim , bahçede kullanıyoruz ve artık sinek ilacı kullanmaktan kurtuldum. Evet sineklerin yanma sesi biraz yüksek çıkıyor ama alisiyorsunuz böyle bir performans beklemiyordum o kadar memnun kaldım ki tüm çevreme anlattım ve öneriyorum mutlaka her eve gereken bir ürün hiç düşünmeden alın aldirin! Deneyerek yazmak istedim 10numara ürün yedek ampuller için de teşekkürler...

Yep, as described, works well.

I have one of these in the UK and I bought it to kill flies! Not so good with flies! The unit I have in Spain was zapping away and killed all manner of bugs! Especially Mosquitos. Put it in any room in the dark before bedtime and the bugs be gone. It makes a loud noise when it zaps, but you soon get used to it. You know each zaps means one less bite. Would Highly recommend
