I’ve gone through 8 boots in that time. They just aren’t made for long term use. My insurance won’t cover them anymore so I have to purchase them on my own. This is the exact boot my doctor recommended, but SOOOO much cheaper. It arrived quickly and is doing the trick so far. Once this one wears out, I will definitely re-purchase it here. The liner of my original boot began to show real wear and tear (and smell). I washed the liner...bad idea...the velcro never returned to normal. not strong enough. Found this boot on Amazon (THANKS AMAZON),it is the same brand that they sent be home from the hospital in, except it did not have the air pump...also the one from the hospital was $30+ more than this one with the air chamber. I decided to try this one and I am glad I did. The boot is comfortable and the air chamber can be pumped up for a more secure, compression like feeling...my ankle liked that, or you can release the air for more room...it works really well!. There is nothing about having to wear these boots that is fun...comfort and ease of putting on and off is essential. This boot is super comfy and easy to wear.
